I’m sharing our experience to help others make an informed decision. My spouse and I vacation a couple of times a year, and despite many trips, this is the first time we’ve felt compelled to write a review.
Our stay had several issues. The AC unit made a loud, persistent noise, and the toilet broke early on, remaining unrepaired despite multiple calls to maintenance. Shower pressure was low for four days, and we had no hot water for three. Housekeeping was inconsistent, often re-hanging our used towels rather than replacing them.
Dining was the biggest disappointment. Most meals were buffet-style, with flies swarming the food, which made dining unenjoyable and unsanitary. Aqua Terra’s menu was supposed to be available elsewhere but never was, and Cerulean’s menu was limited.
When we asked to transfer to their sister resort, we were told we’d face a $1,900 penalty, and management was dismissive, saying, “You had a choice, and you chose Sea Breeze.”
The ocean views were beautiful, and the staff was kind, but the lack of management response and food hygiene left us feeling disappointed.
