Comfort and Convenience in Clinton, Conn.
This vintage but nicely-renovated motel met my recent travel needs. Grew up in nearby Madison, and I am still surprised at the limited lodging choices along the busy Connecticut Shoreline! Originally planned a two-night stay, but my trip departure was delayed. I contacted reception to advise - no worries - and my room was ready when I arrived. Nice to know this is here, for future reference. 'Coffee Break' in the center of Clinton serves a tasty breakfast and lunch. Thank you, Clinton Motel!

Not your average motel. Was very pleasantly surprised!! The rooms were clean, the bathroom looked recently remodeled, and the beds were comfortable. In case you needed, they even included little "extras" like packets of tooth paste and other toiletries. Thought it was quite reasonably priced for the area. Would definitely stay again.

This was as all the reviews mentioned, clean! The only issue we encountered was the couches in the rooms (we had two rooms) appeared to be a bit musty. Other than that, we were pleasantly surprised by this motel.

Convenient location and great price for our needs. Serviceable facilities. Could benefit from many updates like a bedside clock, a working chain lock on the door, new pillows, sheets and towels. There’s a swimming pool way in the rear, across a lawn and behind a chicken wire fence, For a one night stay, it was okay, but not for longer.
