Beautiful hotel in a historic elegant palace, and the location was perfect for walking all around Cadiz. Lovely spacious rooms that have a kitchenette and a washing machine- what a treat to wash clothes after 2 weeks of traveling! No dryer but they provide a large drying rack. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at the best hotel in Old Town Cádiz, Hotel El Armador. With a friendly staff, this charming establishment offers an unbeatable location, with everything you need just around the corner. The proximity to everything, restaurants, best gelataterias, interesting shops, and local attractions makes exploring the city very convenient. Additionally, being close to the train station makes commuting to and from the hotel easy. The hotel is within walking distance of many points of interest, allowing you to visit Cádiz's landmarks without the need for additional transportation. The convenience of having a laundry service on-site is a great plus, especially for longer stays. The taxi service available right at the near by plaza of the hotel is also very handy for those times when you need a quick ride. The combination of these amenities and the attention to detail at Hotel El Armador makes for an exceptional stay. I highly recommend Hotel El Armador for those seeking comfort, accessibility, and an unbeatable location in Cádiz.

Absolutely loved our stay! Spacious and comfortable. Nice walk to the beach. Parking was easy in the Plaza de San Antonio. Happy to have a washing machine. Will definitely return!!

This is a gorgeous property, right off a beautiful square and a street with lots of local flavor. Somehow we didn’t see many tourists in this area, so it felt more authentic. Cadiz is a beautiful town and it was easy to walk everywhere from this property. Check in was quick and staff were very helpful with question we had. We stayed in the penthouse and it was gorgeous and a real treat with a huge rooftop terrace, canopies to protect from the heat and a place to dry our clothes from the washer. I would highly recommend this property for a family or group of friends!

When we arrived in Cadiz which was our first time in the city and we arrived at the hotel my husband and I were just in awe with the architecture of the hotel. I felt a very good vibes especially with our room which overlooks the beautiful street and the Plaza de San Antonio. The room has high ceilings and a balcony. The windows by ye balcony was a very nice feature. There’s a kitchenette that made me able to cook most of he time. We stayed for 8 days and we felt so relaxed and at home. The location is walkable to all the interesting places to visit in the old city . It’s safe even at night and lots of nice restaurants. The market is 6 minute walk and the convenience store is right beside the hotel . Highly recommend to stay in this hotel when visiting Cádiz. Special mention to the staff Christian, Conchita and Mary who has helped us a lot with recommendations on where to visit and eat . The cleaning staff were wonderful. Five stars to this hotel *****

Súper recomendable. Estuvimos en el penthouse o ático. Un departamento de dos habitaciones y dos baños con una gran terraza que da a la calle. La decoración, las camas, la cocina equipada completa incluso con lava ropas, todo muy recomendable. La atencion del personal de recepción muy atento a todas las necesidades. El lugar inmejorable con acceso caminando a todas las atracciones de la ciudad. Definitivamente un lugar para regresar!!!

I stayed for 2 nights with my husband, my sister and my 8 month old baby. We had the 2 bedroom apartment and it was just perfect for us. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the whole apartment was spotless clean. Communication with the receptionist was very good and they gave us all the instructions for a late check in via whatsapp which was very nice. The location is perfect for a short stay or even a longer one. The apartment has all the amenities and the hotel is in a pedestrianized road full of restaurants, markets, bakeries and cafes. Easy to go everywhere walking. I would definetly recommend.
