Very “westernized” hotel with all the amenities. The best parts were the size of the rooms, amenities, and the very helpful and accommodating staff.

The staff are excellent and very quick to respond to help. We requested extra towels and they were delivered within minutes. We also asked for a taxi to Britannia and one was ordered right away. The staff and location are excellent and the best parts of this hotel; however, those are the only real positives. The room is a bit odd since there’s only one location away from the beds to charge your phone using usb outlets. I know European rooms are small but the bathroom reminded us of a cruise ship bathroom and is tiny. The hotel bar and the food were ok but our last night there they served a very limited menu and it wasn’t advertised except for one tiny sign at the bar so we ended up leaving and going to a nearby Italian restaurant that is amazing. Overall, the staff here are amazing but I wouldn’t stay here again due to the bathroom and size of the room. But if you’re fine with very basic things and being in a great location then this hotel is probably for you. also, FYI this hotel no longer offers laundry service.

Very outdated, but clean, front desk staff was nice. Great location. Bar in hotel was nice. No fridge or microwave, no plug in outlet by the beds. I wouldn't stay again for how outdated the hotel is, and no plug in by the bed is very inconvenient. I would rather pay more for a nicer place next time.

Room was clean, but very outdated. No outlet on either side of the bed. The cleaning staff would leave a vacuum in the hallway every day, in a random spot, once right outside my door, and the Rombas just drifted throughout the hallway, and the carpets were still always a little bit dirty. Our room smelled like a dirty toilet slightly, esp the bathroom the first couple days, not sure why. The location is very good, so close to so many things. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Their bar was nice and gave us ice or salt and pepper when we needed. Unfortunatley no fridge or microwave in room. Overall place was clean, just very old and outdated, I wouldn't stay again just for that reason.

It was just ok

It was a decent hotel for what we paid. The lack of phones in the room meant you had to go downstairs to reception for everything. There was no iron in the room, and very little space to put your clothes. That was inconvenient. Again, it wasn’t too bad but I don’t think I will stay there again.

Well there’s some up and down. The staff was great and polite beautiful and very helpful. If you get there early they will help taking you luggage and keeping it safe till your check in. Your key card works with your floor. The property is well centralized and everything is close by. Restaurant in the hotel is great and convenient good food and music. The downside No refrigerator, microwave or ice in the floor you are in you can get it in the restaurant but not in your floor

Very close to royal mile and princes street and all the attractions and pubs in the area. Bus stop very close to the hotel and train station within walking distance. Staff very helpful and friendly. As its on the busy south bridge it can be a bit noisy at night but thats not surprising given the location. Room was clean but just had to remember to step up to the bathroom which was unusual but thats not a deal breaker. Would stay there again.

Location, Location, Location. It is near the train station and the Royal Mile. There is another Ibis very nearby which everyone goes to in error, the staff were very nice about telling us that our hotel was 200 metres away (given that they must be asked at least 20 times a day).

The hotel is a short walk from the Royal Mile. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food offered by the hotel is amazing and we went back for more. We would definitely use this hotel again.

The location is excellent, everything is close by the room is okay you get what you pay for. The restroom was not good felt like a portal potty and the shower was really small and not clean when we arrived we found a hair and nowhere to put your own products. The service was good everyone was nice.
