Started off well with the exception of the room smelling of smoke, but woke up in the morning to find the reception door was locked between 7am and 7.30am that prevented us from getting to the breakfast hall (breakfast started at 7) and from being able to check out. We tried to knock and even called reception but to no avail. Sent two emails to the hotel and received no response after a week. Seems this hotel is in need of a new manager.

Perfect weekend! Staff were so friendly! Our hut looked over the farmer field and cows came right up to the gates near our hut and I told staff I love cows and they gave me food to feed them with. It’s so peaceful and private! We will definitely be back more regularly!

Just incredible
Omg this place is a true GEM it offers hotel rooms if thats your bag but, try the shepherd's huts... nothing compares... so back to narure and for any celebs out there reading this . .. book a shepherd's delux... you wont regret it, totally back to nature, cows with their calfs, deer, peacocks... a fabulous restaurant to get your food or... cook your own... only criticism i have is TV it vibrates on sound making it very hard to warch, but i used pc so ok but maybe look at changing tv's

Stunning Location
Room was comfortable unfortunately I had room looking into a central car park so no views of the stunning country side but I guess someone has to have this room also the food was excellent but the service was slow I sat for 40 mins after finishing my meal waiting for someone to ask if I wanted a desert and eventually gave up and went to find someone to pay my bill. I also found it difficult to dry my hair as there was no mirror in the bedroom
