Relax at the peaceful Garden Retreat. Located near Moran State Park and Doe Bay Resort, you'll discover miles of trails, and beautiful lakes for kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking. After a day of adventures, your family can cook meals and enjoy the large open living area while taking in views of the beautiful gardens surrounding this home. With an outdoor deck for dining, BBQ, and evenings under the stars, you'll find plenty of room in this two-story, three-bedroom ensuite island home.
While I love to meet our guests, we do offer a contactless check-in.
Please contact your host for anything you may need or with questions. We are available 8 am -5 pm daily, and 24/7 for emergencies.
Garden Retreat is located in a lovely rural area with easy access off the main road.
Sitting on a five-acre parcel that is fenced with mature trees and flowering shrubs, you'll find a set-apart feeling to this home. There is the main road out to the front of the home, so please know there is some traffic noise mostly during the peak time of the day.
You'll receive a Welcome Letter three days before your check-in with directions and access information for the house.
The master bedroom offers a comfortable king bed and a reading area, all ensuite with double vanity and shower/tub combo. Open the sliding doors and step out onto the balcony for morning sunshine and coffee.
The guest bedroom upstairs has a full-size bed and its own full bathroom in the hallway. Comfortable and cozy, you'll find garden views out the window and fine linens for a great night's sleep.
Head downstairs to the private bedroom ensuite with a queen bed and garden views. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo and a vanity area. The bathroom also opens to the TV and game room on the bottom floor. With an indoor fireplace, games, and movies, it's a great place to have some indoor fun!
Discover the east side of the island! Just minutes from Moran State Park, Obstruction Pass Park and Public dock, Doe Bay Cafe and Resort, and downtown Olga!

Excellent House, Location, and Property.
Great house, check-in was super easy and the owner provided simple but detailed directions to the property and instructions about the house. The location was great- next to multiple major island lakes and trailheads, close to town, and passed by both a gas station and electrical charger on route to the house. We did have some issue with the wifi while we were there when it went out for a few days and we couldn’t get it back on, and a few of the outlets didn’t work. Overall great stay and the owners were great to communicate with, a 4 star rating because of the electrical.issues.

Wonderful Home
Our family was in town for a Celebration of Life and we chose this house due it being 3 bed, 3 bath. It was a lovely home & soooo clean!! That’s the one thing most important to me is cleanliness. This house had everything you could possibly need as well as spices and some condiments along with coffee and a welcome bottle of wine. I highly recommend this house for anyone on the fence wondering if it’s going to work for their needs. I would stay here again if we ever go back to Orcus.

Quiet and clean
We had a great time on orcas. The house had plenty of space for our girls trip. The house is close to Moran and easy to find. We were impressed with how clean the house was. It was easy to communicate with the host and had a lovely garden. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful Garden Retreat
We loved staying at this property on Orcas. The house had plenty of room for 6 adults, including lots of seating areas both inside and out. The garden even had fresh raspberries that the gardener invited us to pick! The Wi-Fi was spotty at times but this wasn't a big deal as we were intent on using the week the disconnect. Would definitely stay here again!
