The good : the owner was nice, easily reachable and provided us free coffee capsules and towels, the view from our balcony was pretty, the neighbourhood was quiet and the place was clean. Good A/C. Spacious room with cupboard space provided.
The bad : it is not a “hotel” but a house with shared rooms, the name is a bit misleading. The other rooms from other renters were right next to ours, so close that we could hear them snoring. There was a quiet time from 10pm to 8am. Our bed was hard. The light in the shared bathroom turns on automatically when detecting movement, but it closed so many times when we were showering, it was a bit annoying. Also, the portugal tourist tax fees could only be paid in cash which was quite inconvenient since we had to pull out cash just for this and were charged very bad conversion fees from the atm. Overall, not bad, but not great.
