The owner, Paola Rosa, went above and beyond to accomodate my family, which included a 77 year elderly man with limited mobility. We secured 2 rooms.
The rooms are adequate for the price, and there was hot water. The owner speaks Spanish and Quecha, and her son speaks speaks those, as well as English (he guides people on the Inka Trail)
This hotel is steps from the Ollaytantambo Archeological site, and a short walk to the Plaza de Armas, and not far from the train station.
Baggage storage was also available after checkout.
We had a fantastic experience, and we are returning for another stay in 2 days on our return journey from Machu Picchu.
Note: 1 towel per person, and 1 bar of soap per person. No shampoo/other toiletries, although I suspect if you didn't have your own, Paola Rosa would find a way to get what you needed.
