Tired and closing down
Not that far from Bruge but completely inaccessible if you don't have a car. Very pleasant green surroundings and the donkeys they had were friendly.
Rooms, furnishings and decor very tired and basic - more like you would expect in a hostel.
Main problem is that the 'hotel' was closing [for good] down a couple of days after our visit so was in the process of being stripped down - so no evening restaurant (no cooker left in the kitchen), nothing to make tea or coffee in your room. However, was kindly given permission to 'self-serve' on a kettle that was left.
Despite the fact that the kitchen really didn't exist the breakfast wasn't that bad - but nothing cooked of course.
Pleasant staff. wi-fi failed on the first day but came back later and was good. TV fine and working.
We were out most of the day so wasn't a huge issue for us but pretty basic even by 2 star standards and didn't feel especially like a good value deal as a result.
Staff were friendly and I think have new positions when the hotel closes [which it will have down by now 10 Jan].
Needs a massive cash injection and a re-think on audience and room quality before could recommend.
