Welcome to Whiskey Sands! Brand new construction, roomy cottage style beach house in the new Summer Salt Subdivision. There’s space for everyone in this beautifully designed 2500sf home. There are 4 bedrooms, and they each have their own en-suite bath - privacy abounds…none of the bedrooms share a wall! There are two separate living areas, and 3 outdoor spaces with a front porch, back porch and back yard, plus an upper back porch deck. Parking spaces in front of the house for 4 vehicles. Fully fenced yard overlooking wetlands in the back - just incredible sunset views!

This home has one of the biggest yards in the neighborhood, and backs up to beautiful wetlands, that then back up to the Gulf State Park. We have absolutely fallen in love with this area and you will too. It’s the perfect balance of space and luxury, plus walkability! Right at the front of the neighborhood are two incredible restaurants, plus several more in walking distance. Even walking distance to Live Bait for live music and a nightclub. The beach is a half mile away with Romar public beach access. Walk if you’d like, or hop in the car and you’re there in no time at all. Use our supplied beach cart and toys!

USA Today recently named the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail the best recreational trail in the country for 2023. The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail is an award-winning 28+ mile paved trail system that takes visitors throughout the 6,150 acres of Gulf State Park, and there are several access points right down the road from the house.

We’ve really tried to think of everything when stocking the kitchen and the rest of the house - enjoy big family meals at the huge dining room table! The house lends itself really well to two or even three families, and I’ve included floor plans so you can see the specific bed layouts in the photos. The furniture and artwork are all very high end. I love to design, and plan to spend time here myself with my family, so I wanted it to be beautiful.

We also have an 85” Roku TV in the Living Room, plus a 75” in the game room, 50” in the double bedroom, 43” in all the other bedrooms. You can stream whatever you like! I’ve stocked a Sonos portable speaker to take on the porches and to the firepit area as well.

In the neighborhood just down the street there’s a huge beautiful pool for you to use, and a putting green as well! We’ve stocked the house with pool and beach towels, and some beach toys, portable chairs and a cart. We’re situated right smack in the middle between Flora-Bama, and the Gulf Shores Hangout. I’ve tried them both and they are great for live music!

We’ve also put together a local guide that you’ll get when you check in. Don’t miss all the great seafood, and there’s a dolphin tour that I just couldn’t believe. Orange Beach Alabama combines southern hospitality, delicious fresh seafood, beautiful tall pine tree forests, wetlands, and the beach. Whatever your thing is - beaching, boating, hiking, biking, dining, or just plain having a blast - it’s here! Orange Beach is worth falling in love with - come to Whiskey Sands and see!

The whole home is yours to enjoy, and there's a community pool, common areas, and putting green as well.

Wonderful fall getaway!
Couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better house! Sandy was amazing! Anything that could have been thought of for this home/stay was executed! All of the little things made the house feel like a home. It was a little chilly on a few nights & the fire pit was perfect. The front deck was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. Beautiful home, we will definitely book again in the future!

Everything about this home was perfect! Firstly, Sandy is top notch when it comes to hospitality. The decor and layout of this home is breath taking. Although it is spacious and open the home feels so cozy. The water was hot which I loved! The property was clean and the beds were so comfortable. My family of 10 all slept comfortably. This was an amazing property! This was the first time we have rented a house for our stay in OBA. We generally rent one of the condos. The property did not disappoint, and this was a great choice for our first time at renting a house. The property is in a very good location with a pool access inside the neighborhood. There is beach access within a 5 min drive or 20-30 min walk. The host has the property stocked with all of the essentials. So, do not buy anything until you visit the property. The only thing you really need to bring is food. The host was very responsive, and I will definitely rent this property again. Loved our stay here.

My family and I enjoyed this beautiful new home in the center of Orange Beach, AL during my granddaughters spring break. The home is brand new with every amenity. Never experienced such a thoroughly stocked home with all the utensils, plates, glasses - paper products, and appliances. The home is truly large enough - (2) bedrooms down and (2) bedrooms up both with sitting and relaxing dens with large televisions. The backyard is fenced with wrought iron so not to worry if Fido wants to roam. We enjoyed he new gas grill and the fire pit in the evenings. Sandy is a super host and cares for her guests. We definitely recommend this property and the host.

Whiskey Sands Rental is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the exceptional appointments and attention to detail. The rental is truly fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The kitchen is a chef's dream, equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and every gadget imaginable. The fenced-in yard was a game-changer for our little dogs, providing a safe and secure space to run and play. The furniture and decorations throughout the rental are simply stunning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Every room is beautifully curated, with a perfect blend of style and functionality. The beds and bedding were fabulous. But what truly sets Whiskey Sands apart is the exceptional service provided by Sandy, the host. She was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing requests and questions we had with a genuine desire to ensure our stay was perfect. I cannot recommend Whiskey Sands Rental highly enough.

Great property with fully fenced yard for our pups. Sand yard gave them their own “beach” since local beaches are NOT pet friendly. Nice gas fire pit in back for cool nights. Nice, new house with large TVs and new appliances. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Property
Sandy thought of EVERYTHING when furnishing and stocking this beautiful home! We and each of our adult children, two of whom brought their families with small children, enjoyed the luxury of our own suites and the nice touches of an open common space upstairs and down. We loved our time here and hope to come back in the future!

A little Summer Salt makes everything better!
Our party of 11 had a wonderful time at Whiskey Sands! The house is very well laid out for multiple families and equipped with EVERYTHING we needed… even things we didn’t realize we needed. Very well stocked kitchen with enough soaps, trash bags and paper towels, I never had to use my own. There was even a wagon, cooler and plenty of beach towels! The backyard was fenced and perfect for smaller children and/or your furry friends.. This house felt so much larger than 2500 square feet! Beautiful bathrooms and decor. This property owner has done their homework. I have stayed in several condos and houses over the years but the thing that makes Whiskey Sands set apart is the owner, Sandy! She always kept me in the loop and answered my questions within seconds. If you have a large family, group of friends or simply want the space to spread out, you will not be disappointed with this property! I can’t wait to come again next year! Don’t miss mini golf, Doc’s Seafood, and the best breakfast in town at The Ruby Slipper, all within walking distance of this awesome property!

Absolutely Incredible!
We feel so fortunate to have found this property. It was in a perfect location along ocean Blvd with easy access to both Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. The love and care put into the home is easy noticeable and it was just a perfect spot for our group of 8. If you are checking this out, stop searching and just hit “book”, you won’t regret it.
