There was no breakfast buffet as advertised and the hotel was unsafe due to construction. Also, no coffee because the machine was broken. Then they should go buy a pot!

The Inn at Orangeburg was accessible to walking restaurants for food. Close to areas where family resides. The just need to bring back continental breakfast.

Won’t stay again
When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby smelled of marijuana. We were told after check in that breakfast began at 7:00am. While in our room, we heard someone at the door trying to get in. After questioning the person trying to get in, she showed us her card and paper that they had wrote down our room number as hers. The next morning we go down for breakfast to nothing being out. When we asked the front desk about this they informed us that they had bagged breakfast due to them planning on renovating in 3 weeks. Doesn’t make sense on why you still cannot provide a breakfast, as advertised. Beds were very hard and several lights out in the room.

Terribly disappointing... should not be Operating
Very expensive rate for the type of lodging. Breakfast included was advertised. However, a brown bag breakfast was offered. The bed was very uncomfortable. The matress looked saggy and expired. Excuse was given that Hilton had purchased the inn and was scheduled for renovation in three weeks.

Room rate seemed to reflect an aging facility.
room was clean and showed clean. Door latch required patience to operate. Breakfast wasn't until 7:00. want to be on the road at 6:00. TV was too complicated. Shower valving needs repair or replacement. Room rate seemed to reflect an aging facility. You get what you pay for. although I may have to fight a double charge because the first time that I booked there was no confirmation.
