We were looking for a short and inexpensive 3 day getaway, needless to say, you get what you pay for.
Let me start with the Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, walking distance to the beach, the restaurant on site was always packed so it must've been good (we didn't eat there) and there are other restaurants nearby as well as a convenience store across the street.
Con: The place is run down beyond words. The room had very poor lighting, the stove burners are covered by aluminum foil to keep them together. The cracks on the corners of the room are very visible. The blinds were falling apart so you couldn't even open them for some light in the room. There was one or two tables in the pool so if you wanted to sit by the pool you would be lucky to get one. The pool looked dirty, as if the filter wasn't working properly. The abandoned construction site next door is an absolute eyesore. When asked if they were going to be renovating anytime soon we were looked at like we were crazy and like "why should they". There were beach chairs available, some were fairly new but many of them looked as if they had seen better days.
Overall, this place is very conveniently located, the staff was nice and the room, although run down, it was clean.
