Staff was remarkably attentive and the dinner truly exceptional. Rooms on the small side, but very well appointed. Chickens and friendly cats delighted the children.

if I could give this property an 11 out of 10, I would! Everything about it was wonderful. We stayed in the self-catering apt at the back of the property for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Had a nice sized living room and a separate bedroom, which was great as it provided us with so much room. Every detail was carefully thought of, from a very comfortable bed to every amenity in the bathroom and kitchen one could want, such as a great hairdryer, nice shampoo and conditioner, breakfast cereals, pots, pans, plates, etc. The hosts were also fabulous! Very friendly and helpful. They gave us ideas on where to go during the day and evenings, and even though we were in the self-catered unit, they invited us to have breakfast in the home one of the days. Ann is a fabulous cook and there was a ton of different options to choose from. Only thing to be aware of is that the property is situated about 20 minutes from Galway, so it was a bit of a trek to go there. But the place was so wonderful that it was worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is the way you do a B&B. The hosts were so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. They indulged us by answering all of our questions about Irish culture and lifestyle. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Ann & Michael were terrific hosts. Very knowledgable about the area & things to do, places to go. The rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully presented as well as delucious!

Outstanding property. Lots of space plus a common sitting room and balcony. The breakfast area was pleasant and bright. The breakfast was second to none- fresh bread and scones, fruit, cereals and yogurt and a full hot selection. Hosts extremely helpful with and requests for information. Location is a short drive to Galway or the bus is only a 7 minute walk away. We loved the small village atmosphere of Oranmore and chose to have dinner each night here as it was only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants. Excellent highway access for anyone driving. A dream getaway location.

This s place was perfect for our stay. While we didn't meet Michael, Ann was a pleasure. The apartment was the perfect mix of amenities and coziness. We would highly recommend you consider staying here if you're in the Galway area!!!

The hosts for this property obviously care for the comfort and convenience of their guests. That much is obvious when you set foot in the door. The apartment was meticulously clean, and cozy and comfortable without effort. From surprisingly large and cuddly throws to a bed you don’t want to leave, the space continues to delight from arrival to departure. Thank you for a truly lovely experience.

Normally I don’t really rate hotels I stay at on trips, but Oranhill Lodge is a top notch, special place. My husband and I wanted to explore Galway and Oranmore on our honeymoon, and we were fortunate enough to choose Oranhill Lodge to stay. The lodge is beautiful, spacious, and really feels like a home. Our room was so clean and cozy, and this Lodge is located so close to the bus stop that will take you into Galway or other nearby spots. But Ann and Michael make this place stand out entirely. This is my first international trip, so for me, finding comfort and feeling safe meant a lot. Ann and Michael treated us like family, not just guests. I won’t ever forget that kindness and consideration- the way they went above and beyond for us. Stay here on your trip!

FAVOURITE stop during our 4 week travels!
Ann and Micheal at Oranhill Lodge were amazing hosts with the most beautiful property! We loved our stay in the “apartment” (newly converted garage) with every amenity one would need, with fully equipped kitchen and living space. And Ann’s breakfast was fantastic! So many choices, and THE BEST fresh scones in Ireland! After 3+ weeks in Scotland and Ireland, this was our favourite accommodation and hospitality!

This B&B is simply perfect! Close to everything, parking on-site, the owners are helpful and offer tips and suggestions (dining, driving). The breakfast was amazing - best porridge ever (one of many choices). The room was quiet and comfy. Look no further!

We stayed in the brand new separate apartment. It was so clean and bright, and Ann and Michael had thought of everything. Loved the extra touches - bottled milk in fridge, beautiful hair and body wash, hand cream, lighting in bathroom. Fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend this to anyone
