The property was really clean and the staff was really nice. We called 24hrs before our stay to ask if we can do early check in at noon and was told we could. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told that we could do early check in at 1:10p. Didn’t like the way the pillows and bedding smelled. Online it states that the rooms had both microwave and refrigerator, but there was only a refrigerator in the room. But they had a microwave in the lobby area next to the receptionist desk.

Pool water freezing, room needed more cleaning
Breakfast was great. The room floors (carpet and bathroom) were dirty and even the hallway. The room needed to improve in the cleanliness. The pool was freezing. I commented that to the front desk and they said it takes 3 hours to warm up. When I went back in the evening it was still freezing.

The hotel was well maintained and our stay was pleasant. However, I booked a room that was was suppose to have 2 queen beds but, upon arrival, we were placed in a room with just 1 king bed! That put a huge damper on our stay as we had to share beds! Because this was booked through Expedia as a package deal, getting reimbursed would have been a whole to-do. Unfortunately, there was no other available rooms for that evening. 1. We were not offered a reimbursement. 2. We were not offered a voucher to stay at another Hampton Inn in the area. 3. Worse off, we were not offered to be moved to another room with 2 queen beds when available as we did stay multiple nights. Does Expedia not talk to the Hotel? From this experience, it does not makr me comfortable in purchasing package deaks through 3rd party retailers. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.

At first look the room and bathroom appears to be clean, but I found hair and dust in the closet, bathroom base board and under the sink cabinet. I recleaned and sanitized the entire room and bathroom before unpacking. Also no wash cloth was left after the room was cleaned. I call the front and ask for some without sucess. I had to get them myself.
