Very close to Universal- from the parking lot to the walkway to City Park entrance it was only 22 minutes. They do have a shuttle available also. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The staff is very friendly and greeted us coming and going. I was able to check in a little early as well. We did have a couple of lights not working in the room one evening and they sent maintenance right up. The only thing was a weird smell in the room. It smelt a little soured. They did send someone to check the carpets a couple of times, and by the last day, the smell wasn’t as bad. We only noticed it when we walked in the room after coming back from the Universal parks each evening. Housekeeping left us plenty of towels and washcloths. I will stay here again with my family in the future!

Room was clean. Beds only had 3 pillows each so with 4 people not everyone could have 2 pillows since the front desk said there were no extras. It was nice having a seperate sink area to the bathroom so someone could get ready there while someone else showered. Breakfast buffet was great, a lot of choices. Shuttle to universal was a plus however the earliest return was 525 so we had to uber back since we were done at the park at 3 but uber was still cheaper than daily park parking fee. Overall great hotel, would highly recommend

Right after we entered the room on our first day, there were huge cockroaches. Had to call the front desk to have someone come to take care of it. Then the bottom of the toilet was leaking rust all over the floor. I’ve stayed at other Fairfield locations before, but this experience was not what was expected from a Marriot chain.

The hotel is a little old but it's well maintained and the staff are very friendly. My room included free parking and breakfast which was really great. There is also a free shuttle service to universal studios which is a plus.

Get what you pay for
Hotel smelled like disinfectant. Never cleaned room. Phone in room did not work. Maintenance man said needed while new line installed. Not done while here. I had to remove garbage and used towels in hallway and go to front desk for new towels, soaps and coffee supplies.we stayed two nights
