Love Gaylord Palms. Very professional service. Room was excellent, very clean, and for the most part quiet. It's so festive at Christmas time. Love that we don't need to leave the property for meals as there are several onsite restaurants to choose from and there is all kinds of shops. We will definitely visit again.

Gaylord Palms - Extra special at Christmastime!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gaylord Palms. I stayed there many years ago, they have many additional upgrades. The place was all decked out for Christmas. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. I was disappointed that Moor, the Ship restaurant was closed. We dined instead at Old Hickory Steakhouse, which was wonderful. It didn't disappoint. Great trip overall.

Love to Explore? This is the Place!
The grounds are incredibly magical this time of year. The entire atrium is a delight to walk through and explore. It was a bit surprising to find that the pools are not heated , rendering them too challenging for South Floridians like us. The ICE experience was a fabulous trip to “NY” in winter; at least we knew to be prepared for the cold!

Holiday Happiness at Gaylord Palms!
We had a wonderful time as a family, and a beautifully decorated holiday ice experience with Alf! Dined at the Hickory steakhouse, went to several shows, including Cirque du Soleil elf training cookie decorating in the ice show. I highly recommend it to families for the holiday season!

My family arrived to check-in at 3:15, we reserved two rooms. Our keycard wouldn’t work in either room, it was almost 5:30 pm by the time we were able to enter our rooms. If you’ve ever been there, you know the place is huge, we made several trips to the front desk to get the keys reset. Once we got in the room, we freshened up and left the resort area to return a short time later and once again could not get into either room. Again, we made trips back-and-forth to the front desk, and waited by the room doors for Security to come and open the doors for us, after 30 mins they never showed up requiring us to once again walk back to clever-in. We were told they would send maintenance up to work on the door, but we would need to remain in the room while they were there. Finally, at 9 o’clock we said we had enough and told them we wanted a refund for our stay and we left.

Everything is good which it should be at that rate. Dinner at Old Hockory was good but not those prices good. However, the number of emails you get leading up to arrival and even after is INSANE. Back the heck off! I shouldn't have to consider blocking you lest i miss something actually important.

Property was excellent, staff was awesome. The only issue was it was insane to jump the buffet price from 35 a person to 85.00 on Thanksgiving!!! There is zero reason for that, especially because you know many local places were shut down early or not open at all.
