A little disappointed
It was a older hotel in the elevators were a little scary. The room was remodeled but in the bathroom it felt like the spigot in the shower was coming off. I know I only paid $148 but I was going to a funeral and 148 is a lot. The lady at the desk was very nice and I believe she was the same lady when we were checking out as well. She was very helpful when we asked her questions and even gave us directions to the church we needed to get to.

I did not like the high beds. Very difficult to get in and out of. I did not like the fact i could not get ahold of the front desk from the room. There were expired sodas in the vending machine. A tv guide menu should be provided in the room.better breakfast selection.

The property is conveniently located near several nice restaurants, and the landscaping around it is nice. However, the room itself needs some TLC. The mini fridge was unsteady, so I had to put something under one leg to make it steady, the bed was one of the firmest beds I've ever slept on, and the pillows are very flat & uncomfortable (thank goodness I bring my own!). The receptionist was not very friendly, a smile would go a long way to make guests feel welcome. We left at 0600, so I'm unable to rate the continental breakfast as it was open 0700 - 0900. (Most hotels have the breakfast served from 0600 - 0900, so that was a little disappointing also). We will probably choose another hotel the next time we visit friends in Altamonte Springs. Disappointing 😞
