We were in the room with the clawfoot tub. We were overall pleased with the stay, but didn’t realize when we booked that we were staying in a historic home/inn, so there were some things that caught us by surprise. All of the windows of our room overlooked either a somewhat messy side yard full of tools and equipment, or the front porch and parking lot, so we kept the blinds and drapes closed for the most part. The parking situation can be difficult to manage in the later evening on weekends, and the noise from the bar/restaurant out back was significant, so we were thankful for the acoustic control and provided ear plugs. The floor of the sitting room and bathroom was slightly slanted, which took some getting used to, and the toilet is extremely close to the wall, which wasn’t very comfortable. However, the bed was very comfortable, the first floor common area was eclectic, and we never really even heard anyone else in the building for the most part.
