I liked that the staff were all very friendly and my son (7yo) enjoyed the amenities (pool, playground and game room). Parking was also convenient and I liked our two bedroom suite. These were important however I would never stay here again. The internet was down more than it was up, costing me hundreds of dollars in roaming charges. The service dropped sooooooo much. The “restaurants” on site were hardly ever open. I was there for 2 weeks in August and not once was the evening restaurant open. I finally questioned it and was told “scheduling issues”. This forced me to leave the premises everyday or order Uber eats on those days where I absolutely needed to stay in and rest. My biggest pet peeve was that despite staying there for two weeks I was declined housekeeping services (which was the ONLY reason I chose this resort). Before booking I confirmed that someone would be able to come and tidy up our suite upon request. At check in I was told that only after six days I can request this service, okay fine. On day six when I requested the service I was told that it’s not offered. Had I known this I would have just rented a house. Will not be staying here ever again.

Overall very nice hotel, very clean and staff is very friendly. Great location and very close to Universal Studios. There are washer and dryer but dry didn’t work at the beginner and once it’s fixed, it’s very loud when it’s running. Full kitchen so it’s good but the sink is not drained well (which of course could be fixed by letting them know). Spacious room, bright light and good air conditioning. Overall, happy with my stay.

We would only stay at this location when visiting Orlando. It's close to great restaurants, a $6 uber to universal. Apartment size room, great for families with older, teenage kids.

LOVE this place!!! Very CLEAN! I am picky when it comes to hotels and cleanliness. Will be back and recommending the West Gate Palace to everyone I know. It was great that it had 2 separate bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms the washer/dryer topped it all. I didn't have to pack much being I was able to wash my clothes, so saved on checked bags at the airport. I only had to take a carry on bag. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
