Our Stay in Windsor Island Dream

We had a great stay in Windsor Island Dream. We had plenty of space for our Group, and had a fun time. It was set up nicely and met our needs. The location was great. I would recommend this house to anyone.

We loved the size of the home and the location. We liked the check in process, not getting out of the car. Garbage service was wonderful, we had 15 in our home. Check out was easy. Response from owner was prompt and the customer service on property was great. What we didn't like was the long line to get in the resort on check in day, the parking at the property wasn't ideal and the wifi and Internet were horrible. The pool needs to be serviced more often and cleaning service needs to make sure things are working properly. Overall a great stay and we would come again.

We didn't do very much at the house. We played in the soccer tournament. We went to Lake Apopka one day.We never found the WIFI password so we missed out on a lot of TV options. We enjoyed the pool table.

The management and host were excellent. The home was perfect for us and we enjoyed it. The only problem is not one that the host or management company were able to solve. The parking is a terrible problem in this community and the security are rude. My son had his back tire on the grass 5 inches and security was pounding on the door before 8am and screaming security. So we moved it no problem. We had a Internet problem and Spectrum came out to fix. He had parked on the street but crossed into the blue paint. Banging on the door once again screaming security. Just crazy. No fault of the host.

Our home for the week was in a very safe area. It met our needs as far as size of living space. The 15 of us were at the parks from rope drop to closure. The house was acceptable as far as being clean except the rug upstairs needs a good washing. For future renters be aware that you will need additional bath soap, toilet paper,(one roll per bathroom for 7 days) wasn't enough. You will need to get your own garbage bags (1 provided) dishwasher pods, paper towels (one roll is provided). Kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils, however there were no potholders, only 2 kitchen towels. In my previous experience renting VRBO'S kitchens had more amenities such as plastic/aluminum wrap and large serving bowls. BBQ is provided but at this rental you will be responsible for propane. In the end our family had a great time and enjoyed this rental. The teenage boys enjoyed the pool table and air hockey. We all enjoyed the pool after long days at the different parks. We would rent again knowing now what was not included ahead of time.
