cute hotel with the best breakfast.
This hotel is great. Off the beaten track but it's a small town with lots of twisty streets. The best breakfast! helpful staff and comfortable clean rooms. Fun location. Free Parking is about a 7 minute walk away and they will pick you up and drop you off if needed.

Amazing hotel in centre of historic Orosei
We would highly recommend this accommodation to others. The recently renovated rooms are located in several buildings close to the historic town centre. They are clean and the beds are comfortable. Our room had a semi-private outdoor terrace with seating. The breakfast included a variety of foods, including a delicious cream puff (profiterole) which was hard to refuse! The staff were very friendly. We had access to the beach through the reserved area for Mannois guests. This seems to be a very well run and service-oriented company.

Very nice hotel in a nice town close to beaches.
The hotel is split over 3 properties, we were in the one which is not the main house or the restaurant. The property was very nice, clean and in a nice quiet square by a church. Breakfast is a 3 minute walk to the main house where you eat in a courtyard. The rooms in the old house appeared to face onto the courtyard so from 7.30 there would be noise eminating from there which would probably be an issue for a light sleeper. We also eat at their restaurant which was good, but not great although there is a great veiw from the roof terrace. In summary though a very nice option in a surprisingly nice town close to a fabulous coast and beaches.

A hidden gem
Booked for the last night of our holiday having been on the West coast for 7 nights - the room was pretty, quirky and perfectly functional with a comfy bed and good shower - we were very pleasantly surprised and it provided a great finish to an amazing holiday

Disappointing stay in Orosei
I wouldn't return to Albergo Diffuso Mannois. I booked a suite with a jetted tub, but after making so many hotel bookings for this trip, I forgot I had sprung for a nicer room. I only realized now writing this review that I did not get what I paid for. The room, while sort of a suite, definitely had no tub, jetted or otherwise. The room was two floors -- ground and basement. Main bed and a couch on the ground floor, a second bed and the bathroom in the basement. The bathroom was freezing. If we turned on the heat, the ground floor became unbearably hot (i.e., heat rises). To make matters worse, no hot water in the evenings. Just warmer than lukewarm. Mostly had hot water in the mornings, except for our last morning. The shower was really nice, though, when the water was hot. The bed was incredibly firm, and the pillows were, too. The linens felt cheap and scratchy. Sleeping was not comfortable, in other words. Also, I noticed a couple of spots of blood on the bed in the basement. I didn't say anything to the staff because we weren't sleeping in it, and figured they'd notice and change it. But they didn't, even with daily cleanings. Finally, on our way out to dinner one night, our gate key broke in the lock. Almost trapped ourselves (and other guests) inside the courtyard, but thankfully reception staff hadn't left yet. They left daily ~8pm, so not sure what would have happened if they weren't still there.

Rip off. Avoid them.
At check out, the team lost all sense of customer service. We had to negotiate our departure time with them and they tried to charge us for an extra day. After a long waste of time they charged us a fee for a night we didn't stay there. They were jerks. They ripped us off.

Beautiful
Orosei was a stopover but this was a real find. Davide eventually found us as they have 3 locations in town and we were at the wrong one. His neighbour called him and 2 minutes later, there he was with his golf cart. From what I could see, all 3 places are as stunning as each other. This is a real family business created with clearly a lot of affection. In higher season there is what seems like a beautiful restaurant on the top floor of the place we stayed in. All 3 places are close to each other in Centro Storico. We loved our stay. Thank you.

Charming hotel in the heart of Orosei
Charming hotel in the heart of old city of Orosei. Our room (Superior double room "Balentes") was very romantic with stone walls and a little balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.

Authentic and very acceptable place to stay!
My daughter and I spent a week here and had a lovely stay. The main hotel , where we had breakfast, was very delightful . Breakfast was in the courtyard and the breakfast was utterly great with fresh fruit, fresh cakes ,fresh bread, ham cheese, home made orange jams, cooked eggs and bacon if you wanted. We paid a small fee to use the hotel bikes and beach which we did most days. peda We stayed in annexe ,Saturre, with a fabulous terrace and restaurant on the roof called Laconda I think it was called Only one cafe at the beach which was a little dull after a few days! Generally Orosei was quaint but one week was enough . Not a lot to do apart from eat and beach. Boat rides available but I was not keen on 9 hour day in the extreme sun! Many eateries but not much variety. salads and vegetables generally being a big bore. We liked Bellehorizonte, Laconda and the local Taverna typical best.

Quaint little hotel
This is such a cute boutique hotel. We were asked to park at a nearby car park and they came with their golf cart to pick up our luggage. The hotel is literally 2 minutes away. There are 2 buildings and at the main building there is the cutest courtyard where guests have breakfast. There is decent selection at breakfast and was like the other hotels we stayed at in Sardinia with a couple of hot food, cold meat/cheese, breads, fruit, cereals, breads and nice tarts/desserts. The room was comfortable and clean spread over 2 floors. Wifi was good and short walk into town.

Centre of beautiful old Orosei town
Look up the albergo diffuso concept and you will understand more about this type of hotel. It consists of a selection of beautifully and traditionally restored properties all within close proximity of each other. If you wish to stay in the middle of the historic town and in a charming residence you will thoroughly enjoy this!

What a quirky place
A very old farmhouse completely renovated in Orosei historical center. Not accessible by car as the streets are too narrow and the hotel has no carpark. You are transferred to the hotel by electric car after having left your car in a free nearby public carpark. A little bit strange but worth a visit as the hotel has got lots of character.

Cute little B&B, bursting with character!
If you're looking for an authentic little B&B bursting with personality then look no further. We were met with a friendly warm welcome and had our bags collected from our car by the hotel golf buggy as there is no parking at the hotel but can be found close by. We were lucky enough to have a room in the main courtyard in the main house which I would request if possible as the hotel is spread over 3 different properties dotted around Orosei. The room was exactly as it looked in the pictures! Although the property is a few kilometres from the beach you can use the hotel bikes (free) to get to the beach. They provide sun beds and umbrellas on the beach which are also free! The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful and you can order fresh coffee and tea. All in all this is a little Beauty which offers excellent value for money! I'd highly recommend it.

Pretty hotel with private section of the beach
Located near the beach in the centre of a quaint and friendly town. The staff are lovely here and our room was spacious and clean. There are plenty of great restaurants near by and there is a private section of the beach for guests a short cycle away, with bikes free for use or you can rent an electrical bike which is great fun. Would definitely stay here again.

A quaint and unobtrusive hotel complex with charm
The hotel is set amongst the back streets, which can be a bit of a maze until you get to know them. Parking is local, but tight streets mean the car has to be parked a little way away if you are travelling this way. Staff have a handy electric vehicle on hand to whisk you from your car to the room if needed. The hotel complex is over 4 sites in an apartment style and we stayed in one away from the main reception Sa Turre. This was clean and tidy, and no complaints. A short walk for breakfast once you knew the way, built up an appetite and there was plenty to eat. Bikes and electric bikes are free if you book direct, and are welcome for the trip to the beach where they have their own sectioned off area making it more private. Staff at the hotel are very accommodating and anxious to please in any way they can. The hotel is centrally situated to travel from to other local towns, the fantastic gorge, and stunning beaches On the whole a lovely place which we would have no hesitation to book and visit again

Hard to find but well worth looking for
An Albergo Diffuso means it can be spread over multiple locations. We were in La Turre ie not the main 'house'. Our accommodation was excellent. We went to the main 'house' for buffet breakfast. Staff were very eager to please and very helpful. Air conditioning worked very well and beds were very comfortable

Relaxing Break
Very relaxing hotel with lovely courtyard area where we had our room, and where the breakfast buffet is served. The hotel manager Davide was very helpful and provided lots of information on Orosei and the surrounding area. We rented electric bicycles which I would highly recommend if you want to find more of the secluded beaches along the coast (they are also great fun!). We would definitely come back next year for a longer break, as four days wasn't enough!

Friendly and Pleasant Hotel
The hotel consists of several buildings spread throughout the tiny streets of a rambling medieval town. Each has a slightly different character. The rooms are clean and pleasant with interesting personalised touches. My room had a lovely covered balcony with a view out over the town and down to the sea. The hotel is a quite a long walk from the beach but the walk is a pleasant one. The beach and the surrounding countryside are both extremely beautiful. The best thing about the hotel is its staff. Davide went out of his way to help me arrange my trip. He rang the taxi firm who were picking up to take me to the airport as I don't speak Italian. He also managed to organise a horse riding expedition for me, despite it being off-season and most of the riding stables closed. I would definitely factor in a visit to this hotel and the surrounding area if I visited Sardinia again.
