Hotel room was comfortable, and in a great location near Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. However, the hotel struggles being on top of the tube line - even on the 6th floor, the room rattled all night and could be easily heard over any road noise etc. For that alone, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for any traveller coming to Osaka.

We like the hot spring experience, the free ice popsicles, the late evening free ramen! The location is great, close to restaurants and shops. We tried breakfast buffet one day. It cost 23,000 yen, but worth it. The hotel is extremely dated. The windows are old and cannot block off traffic noises. The carpet is old too, I feel they cannot be cleaned. There is a note in room telling guests to take care of their own garages or they will be charged. It seems very rude but I kind of understand the reason behind it. From Richmond Premier in Kyoto to this hotel is a serious downgrade, but because it's cheaper, it's nice for people who rather sleep alone and on budget.

The hotel locates not too far from Dontonburi and Namba area, walkable to shopping center, dinings, and entertainment venues. Staffs are able to communicate well in English. The hotel facilities are all good, ice cream, noodles, hot spring etc.

I loved that the hotel was a 3 minute walk from the Hakone-Yamato train station, so it made transportation really quick and easy. The hotel was located right on the river and the meals were delicious
