So pros about the property, right next to some restaurants, shops, grocery, bus and tram stop. Only about 0.7 miles walking to the National palace or national theatre and the main shopping street. The heated floors in the bathroom were nice, bathroom also had a combo washer/dryer which I didn’t know. The apartment building does have an elevator, not sure why the information page says it doesn’t, maybe in case it doesn’t work. There is only a heater, no AC if you go during the summer months.
Cons: getting in the key fob only works on the smaller, less obvious pad. Not the giant one that accesses the rest of the units or businesses. Yes, there are other businesses in the building but did not appear to be on the same level as the apartments. If you stay there on a Friday or a Saturday night, be warned the nightclub Dorsia (right next to the apartment) is open from 10pm to 3am. My apartment was on the fourth floor and faced the other side of the building but you can definitely hear the bass. You have to sort and empty your own garbage (Norway is big on proper recycling) but the larger garbage cans are outside of the building, around the corner and in an alley. It wasn’t obvious to me. The pillows seem to be made of the same stuff as the comforters so would flatten out within minutes. No neck support whatsoever.
