"This has to be one of the best rooms I have stayed in for a while. And puts some of the major luxury hotels to shame. I stayed in the 'Portland' room which is very quirky and well equipped. Lots of nice touches like hot chocolate. biscuits, bath robes and slippers and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sofa. It even had a washing machine ! The rooms are next the pub which does great food and a nice breakfast. The staff are very friendly. Thanks. A wonderful stay."

"This is a family run hotel in a Victorian building. Our room was really large with a high ceiling with a sea view on the ground floor. Staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to resolve a couple of small issues with the room. The hotel has a spa and also provides evening entertainment even in low season when we visited. We had a really nice stay and the room was good value. Breakfast was also very nice The location is excellent. If you want four five star then this may not meet your expectations, but if you want, clean comfortable, well located and friendly then it gets our vote."

"What a gem! This place was just perfect. The food was Awesome (I rarely eat desserts but my husband ordered the mouse and it was out of this world) great service, welcoming and very accommodating. Full Breakfast was included and cooked to order and the croissants were baked fresh every morning We enjoyed long daily walks and the scenery is just fabulous. My husband and I will definitely be returning. Louie, Lloyd, Nadia and Hebbie ( not sure I spelled that correctly)were fantastic hosts and a credit to the inn. Love love love this place. 10/10"
