Decent hotel. We would have preferred a first floor room as there is no elevator available and we were not aware of that when booking. So we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs that were not totally safe especially with being wet due to the snow. Add to this, we had just arrived from a 5 hour road trip in the middle of a snow storm, and the front desk staff asked me to park my car somewhere else but she didn’t specify where exactly. Other than that, the staff in later days were friendly. Breakfast was fine. One more thing to mention that for two nights, at least a group of 4-5 guests stayed out in the hallway outside our room chatting for at least an hour and they were loud. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Nice and to the point with no major frills
Great place if all you want is a clean bed and a good value. People were respectful of noise and the staff were super friendly. Lots of minor conveniences like a mini shop at the front desk and really good breakfast in the mornings.

The friendly staff and the breakfast. The beds were lumpy and soft and I had to wipe hair (not mine since I lost it due to cancer tx) and dust bunnies.

Stayed here overnight as we had an appointment at the University of Ottawa the next morning. Very close to the highway in the mall, easy to get to. Easy check-in. Brooms were exactly what I expected, clean and comfortable. A great price as well. The only small complaint I will say is that the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up! Not that big a deal, but you want to be courteous and lift it for others and it just wouldn’t stay up!
