The location of this hotel means that the staff have been desensitized to proper customer service. It is located in the middle of the market with lots of drug issues and crime. Choose to stay at another hotel. You are forced to pay an additional 35 for parking. Everything you ask for is above and beyond. I would never choose to stay at this hotel again. Waste of money for the rude service and extra fees tacked on. Location to the Market is the only good thing about this hotel but I would choose the Chateau laurier over this one next time.

It was just an overnight stay but our room was clean and comfortable. Considering that the hotel is downtown, our room was pretty quiet with hardly any street noise. It is very close to arts and entertainment, it was a short walk to the NAC for our show. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants and of course the Byward market.

Excellent location
Excellent location and very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and great bed. It is literally in the middle of the market area and there are a multitude of dining options at the doorstep. Our only concern is the parking cost which we felt was a bit steep in comparison to costs we have been paying in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.
