I travelled with my parents and in laws. We booked 3 bedrooms. My parents bedroom had a broken shower. They change their room for a room without a view, saying they would take them back to the room with a better view to the lake in the next morning, when the shower got fixed. Never happened. I was going to open the sofa bed for my kids, the mattress looked like paper. And, guess what, the sheets were dirty, lot of body man hair. The front desk lady went there to take the sheets off. After that, they tried to convince me to pay EXTRA to get a better room. So unbelievable. Hot tub does not open on Mondays, cause they said they clean and change the water, it’s a lie. My father found something inside that we don’t know what was it. And the water was dirty, and It was Tuesday afternoon, a day after they “changed” the water. Sauna was out of order. Breakfast was ok, clean and the server extremely nice and polite. The view, if you have one, for the river, is beautiful. Definitely not staying again. If you are a family of for, take the 2 bedroom apartament. The sofa bed is disgusting and you will sleep on a piece of paper. Still waiting for them to give our deposit money back. Also still waiting for the check out receipt.

Arrived and the Registration isn't really obvious where it is. It was busy when I arrived, the staff was doing their best to keep up. The room was pretty average, but had a gorgeous view of the river. There needs to be more soundproofing though, I could hear everything my neighbours were doing. Was very disappointed that although the hot tub hours were posted everywhere as being open until 10, when I went to use it, it was closed. Calling the front desk the staff seemed confused. They called back and said that the chemical person went home at 8, so the hot tub couldn't be open... This seemed very strange to me, i don't think hot tubs need their chemicals checked hourly, but ok. Had an impossible time sleeping, due to the noise from the neighbour above me.

The serivice as bad and there is nothing to do there concerning that there is only a starbuck next door. No serivce was offer to shuttle ppl around to the attractions. Beautiful property but need betrer workers and activities to make guest feel at home. Food was bad and i told the ladies it was our anniversary it was pouring rain we were the only on in rhe restaurants and the food sucks. She did nothing to make it special for us.Poorly run place

It is set on a beautiful rideau river setting. They have a shuttle to and from the airport and the pool and lounge area is relaxing. The staff cares that you have a good stay. Great complementary buffet breakfast too. The restaurant food is good and prices are reasonable.

Bare minimum place
The toilet is so close to the tub and the door, the lower drawer of the tv console doesn’t function, the bathroom sink has a missing bottom cap if one drops their ring it will go inside the sink drain, no water bottle. Also the break fast bear minimum, the juices run out, the eggs mass produced, basically a bare minimum on every serving.
