Nice location.
Second time staying here. Great location. Parking is excellent and easy to get up to the room. Room was great. Front desk was terrific. Gym was nice. Mattress smelled of humanity, so it either needs a deep cleaning or be replaced.

Clean the carpets, there is a musty smell. I like the place and would like to continue to stay there considering I go to Ottawa every month. But the smell bothered me so much I had to go buy a candle at the store.

this place is clean and easy to access. i was on the first floor and enjoyed the stay. Gym is fine too. the only issue is communication. i can’t find anyone to ask for anything at the reception, even during the day. i have no idea that there is extra charges. not a big extra amount but i’d like to see the receipt and items. if you are the type of person that will need room service or change towels, don’t book here.

When checking in everything was very organized. It would be helpful to get more details about the underground parking and elevator access from the parking garage.

I really liked staying in apartment-style accomodations which were modern, spacious, and clean. I only took off one star because I had to wash the dishes in the cupboards before I used them. I guess the previous person didn't wash them properly and the cleaners didn't notice and rewash them. The building next door is still under some indoor construction and there's construction on the end of the street but that will be temporary. The Line 2 O-train will open soon too and the Dow's Lake station is less than 3 min away. Being able to walk over to Dow's Lake was nice to relax in the morning. It's easy enough to get downtown with only one transfer on OC Transpo. Note that there are no walkable full grocery stores so it's best to do groceries downtown.

It’s a good place for the money. However, communication could be better and instructions if checking in after hours was unclear. We had some confusion figuring out how to get in and finding our parking spot. My wife would like to add that the water pressure for the shower was terrible.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit on the 6th floor. Some of the pictures make it look like you will stay in a townhouse on the ground floor but that's not the case. The unit was clean, modern and comfortable and very sound proof. We only heard neighbours when they were in the hallway. The building is very close to the otrain station which will be great when it opens but also means you hear the train bell every 10 minutes through the window from early morning to late at night (train testing was underway when we stayed).

Clean and pretty, but disappointing
Disappointing stay for what I thought would be. Suggest staying at a nice hotel unless cooking is important (or air bb). Parking - was extremely difficult to reach anyone to get parking. The reservation says to contact. I kept getting this online "concierge" which was very useless. Said I was reserved for parking but I wasn't. I finally reached someone, a human - she was very nice and reserved me for it. The apartment - lots of construction going on - lots of noise. The main issues were: one of toilets constantly "slowly flushing" - could hear it all day. During the day, can hear neighbours bouncing some kind of ball or something. At night in the main bedroom I realized the wall to the other apartment was not "complete" - the seam against the window, I could see light through into the other apartment! This explained why I could hear absolutely everything the person next door was saying and doing. I had to sleep in the other room - that bed was uncomfortable. The gym - doesn't work after a certain hour, which sucked because of the work days I was having. Doesn't say anywhere. The wifi - it is not good. If you need reliable wifi, don't stay here. I did email the concierge explaining the issues and I got no response whatsoever. The apartment is otherwise very clean, the TVs work well and I was able to cook my meals which was great. Bed in the main room - comfortable. Other bed terrible. I decided to leave the day before because I needed good wifi next day

Central to Ottawa. Room was quiet and very comfortable. At the time of my visit there was alot on construction. Construction on the SoHo and croad construction on Carling Ave near the hotel.

It was a delightful experience to stay at Soho!
We can't say enough great things about our stay. It was a blend of comfort and style, very modern apartment type accommodation in high rise building with underground parking. We stayed at a 2 Bed | 2 Bath condo with a full kitchen-convenient to get your day started with a home made breakfast. From easy instructions to self-check in after hours to getting extra towels, info on amenities to use or sight-seeing tours not to miss, our interactions with on-site concierge were wonderful. Location was very convenient next to " Little Italy" and only 15 min away from Parliament Hill. Father and son enjoyed a hot tub after a days of exploring Ottawa and Montreal. Thank you for excellent service and delightful experience. We would certainly recommend this place to friends and consider for repeat visit.
