It has reasonable rates, discounts if you do not ask for housekeeping, free laundry and breakfasts, computer and printer in room, spacious rooms and great downtown location with numerous good restaurants nearby.

Only thing that was inconvenient is the portable air conditioner and air purifiers in the bedroom. Made for a lot of loud white noise and made it hard to sleep.

Mid-September visit, bedroom really hot with dehumidifier and some sort of “cooling” machine - both very noisy. Maintenance had to fix them after I arrived. Had to turn them off at night because of noose but put them on through the day, thinking they would cool down the room. Windows didn’t open. Main room in suite had noisy air conditioner. Eventually turned off bedroom machines and it was cooler without them. Lighted mirror in bathroom did not work.

Yes, this is an OLD apartment building converted into a business hotel, but they have to be commended for their: staff's efficiency, cleanliness of their rooms, generous with room supplies, everything you could ever need is right there in your room, there are multiple options at breakfast, convenience of indoor or outdoor parking, the location is in the heart of Elgin. There are definitely a lot of boxes ticked AND the price can't be beat 👍

There are many aspects of Business Inn I liked, but the large room, very comfortable bed, kitchen amenities, free washing machine, to name a few. There are restaurants galore, and a great location for sight seeing on foot. This hotel has it all.

Great Downtown Ottawa hotel
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at The Business Inn. Location was perfect to walk to all the sights, restaurants, groceries,etc. Underground parking ($20/nt) but worth it to us for free EV charging and security. Good breakfast with lots of choices, adequate kitchen for other meals, free self service laundry. It met all our needs and appreciated the friendly and professional staff.
