This holiday home was once part of the old hospital and forms part of a unique development of converted buildings down a quiet cobbled lane close by to the church.
Upon entering the property, you will be welcomed into the open plan living and dining area which feels bright and spacious, and you can wind down and watch a film here after a busy day exploring the coastline. The living area has a Smart TV with an Amazon firestick, plenty of comfortable seating and a door leading to the south facing patio area at the front of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Smeg gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and underfloor heating.
Head upstairs to discover the three cosy bedrooms; a single room, king-size room and the third has a zip and link super king-size bed which can be setup with twin beds if requested. The family bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower cubicle, toilet and sink, offering the choice of a refreshing shower or a relaxing soak after a busy day exploring Devon. The village of Ottery St Mary has beautiful architecture and historic buildings lining the streets, backed by rural Devonshire countryside.
Wander through the centre to browse independent shops and galleries or stroll along the River Otter to admire the unusual Tumbling Weir. If you’re exploring beyond the town, you’ll be close to the quintessential East Devon coastal towns and villages of Budleigh Salterton, Beer, Branscombe, Sidmouth, Exmouth and Seaton. Exeter and Honiton are also within easy reach. The Southwest coastal path is nearby, and keen hikers should head to Dartmoor National Park with is just a 30-minute drive away.
