This is an "adult property", not a proper place to stay unless one is looking for a discrete place to have sex. I feel I was bamboozled into making this reservation and I doubt I will ever see my money back. For the record, it is a very long distance from the center of Ouro Preto.

Not appropriate for a typical stay in Ouro Preto
The Le Ville is a motel, not a hotel. It is situated 6 km outside of town near a busy highway intersection, so it is not appropriate for the typical tourist who wants to stay in town and walk around (most hotels are right in town). Like many motels in Brazil, it is more geared to 'discreet encounters' than to tourists: there is a private entry system that buzzes you in to the facility (there is no reception) and the room has a clear 'adult' theme. When we arrived we immediately saw that this was not the hotel we wanted and we quickly booked another hotel through expedia (the Hotel Solar de Maria, which was great) and left. But to the Le Ville's credit, they accepted our late cancellation and Expedia refunded us in full.

Outside the City but Brand New and Spotless
This is a typical "Adults Only" hotel where discretion is paramount. You never see the staff but can interact with them via speaker and telephone. You are buzzed in via an electronic gate and park in your assigned garage. You room key is delivered along with anything else you want via a "box" that has 2 doors. This is where your food is delivered as well. An announcement is made on the speaker system in your room when there is something in the "box". The hotel is brand new and has a commanding view of the surrounding hills outside Ouro Preto. A car would be required to get to the city though a taxi could be arranged by telephone. Spacious room, refrigerator, air conditioning, heat (it gets cold at night). The breakfast was excellent with fresh squeezed orange juice along with ham/cheese toasted bread. Fresh fruit as well. The only down I would give would be the limited number of channels on the television. All Portuguese language. If you want a reasonable priced hotel, large clean rooms, and discretion, this is your hotel.

è um motel porem com serviço de hotel tambem. Ficamos 2 noites, tudo novo, limpo e com refeições com preço justo. Bom atendimento, cordial e simpatico.E privativo, lógico.UM porem, devem deixar claro que é um motel pois acho que se tivessemos crianças conosco nao seria possivel a reserva.

Não observei que era um motel quando contratei a hospedagem. A entrada fica num trevo movimentado, internet não pega bem e nem telefone. NO quarto standart a garagem não cabe um carro grande.Mas o quarto é bom mas com sistema de motel e não tem recepção.

Gostamos muito de ficar hospedados no Le Ville, porém só como ponto de atenção foi para a limpeza das escadas. Ficamos preocupados assim que começamos a subir as escadas, se o quarto também estaria sujo, porém foi o contrário. O quarto estava bem limpinho e as roupas de cama cheirosas. Quanto ao café da manhã, estava muito bom. Porém sentimos falta de uma manteiga ou requeijão. Quanto ao restante é nota 10.
