We checked in last minute after I left a hotel that I was feeling sick at. It was smelled clean. The owner (or manager) made sure that we were taken care of. He checked in every time he saw us.

Needs updating like new carpet and lamps. Just new lamp shades would make a difference. Room smelled stale because of carpet i think. To be clear, everything was old but well kept. The cleanliness helped keep us at ease. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It's not their fault but, location matters. No walgreens or walmart. No places to eat when returning from wherever. Dollar general was 1 mile up the road, wendys was 4 miles further. That was literally it.

I love this hotel. It is very nice, clean, staff always friendly. And only 24 minutes from Holiday World. Great location. Only think I would add is bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. I still give a 10/10.

I've stayed here several times being told things have or will change for the better. I've had recent issues with my room not being cleaned daily when requested at check in. My bolt lock didn't work and i felt like i was inconveniencing the staff rather than i myself being inconvenienced. The rooms are very outdated but blinds have currently been being installed. The rooms have that one cloth cleaned it all look, especially the glass. Breakfast is microwaved sasuuage and eggs. Coffee is only available during the 3 hours Breakfast is being served. There's always a musty smell in The room The pool isnt warm and has a very foul odor to it. For the price they charge, you could easily stay at a high end hotel and have clean rooms, a nice clean pool, decent breakfast and staff with a much friendlier attitude.

Went up here to play softball. When we arrived we were greeted by the hotel manager. He was very nice and was always working. We had to leave early foe the games and he allowed the girls to get breakfast before they opened.

My room was comfortable. The hotel clerk and his wife were dears and personally came to our room to show me how to operate the television. The breakfast was fresh and yummy. The only thing I would have changed was the soiled cloth chair in my room.

Arrived to hotel to be told they didn’t have the double Queen room available anymore, which is what I booked. Instead gave us a king room with no tv. We went ahead and took it because, well, we had to stay somewhere. Lights flickered in lobby. Entire hotel smelled funny. At breakfast, there were ants crawling on the food counter…by the waffles and syrup. Pretty disgusting. Hotel definitely needs help. Very unhappy with my stay and was offered no discount for all the mess ups. Really would like compensated for this awful stay.

Stayed 3 nights as we were on a long weekend traveling with our dog, and exploring the local area. Great location for a home base. The place is clean, needs a small bit of routine maintenance, but the room was spacious and clean. We took advantage of the free breakfast and it was fine, something to get a good start to the day.

Hotel and room was clean and comfortable for a reasonable price. Beds very comfortable. Needs updating! Lots of holes in walls that are just plastered over and poorly patched in room, bathroom and hallway. Ants in the breakfast area counter around food. We booked a 2 night stay and room as not cleaned and towels/washcloths weren’t replenished after first night. When I asked for clean towels at the desk, he questioned my name, room number, checked the computer to verify before giving me a set of clean towels. Thought that was odd, but maybe they have a problem with towel theft. Good stay over all because of bed comfort and clean rooms.
