The staff is wonderful at this property! Very friendly and accommodating. They made our stay at an average motel great! We appreciated that they allowed our dog to stay. The motel itself, while very clean, is in need of some updates and repairs, but the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. It is conveniently located near Miami University, so worked well for a college visit. We would stay again!

We ended up not staying. The room was very stuffy and smelled when we arrived. We turned on the air conditioner and it was very loud. The door had a gap around it, the furnishings were dinged up, and we did not feel comfortable staying there. The manager offered us an alternative place across the street which did not feel like a comfortable option either. I am hoping that Expedia might consider sending us a at least a partial refund. I have learned my lesson on prepaying for a room.

Butler Inn good for very short stay
The room got the job done for just an overnight that we needed. It was clean w the exception of a couple spots on sheet and blanket. Really stuffy/funny smell probably should air rooms out between visits I had to go buy air freshener after checking in. a/c unit really loud. Again we literally only needed somewhere to get a few hours of sleep so it served its purpose would not have paid the price if but there was a lack of affordable properties in the area. Check in and out completely smooth and quick.

Proprietor was very friendly and kind. Property was clean and well maintained. Our room, 2 Queen Beds, was clean and had everything we needed. They even texted us to make sure we had everything we needed.
