Relax and unwind at quiet and secluded Silver Strand Beach! Feel as if you’ve walked right into the pages of a Coastal Magazine in this newly remodeled beachfront home! Out the sliding glass doors you’ll find a nice, wide, clean sandy beach for the the kids to play while you curl up with a good book with your toes in the sand listening to the crash of the waves. Plenty of gorgeous sunsets to enjoy from the decks. This 3 story 3000 square foot beach house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out including two living rooms. The downstairs has a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette that can be completely closed off for privacy. The beautifully decorated home also has everything you need to enjoy your stay including games, sand toys, boogie boards, standup paddle board, balls, frisbee's, etc. There is also everything you’d need in the kitchen, or eat out at any of the many restaurants in the area. A washer and dryer is available for your convenience. Enjoy a bath in the jacuzzi tub, or have fun making s’mores in the fire pit in the sand. This will be a vacation you won’t forget, and a place you’ll come back to year after year to make more memories.

Neighbor to the scenic Channel Islands, Channel Islands Harbor is a recreational harbor that offers fun-filled water activities for the whole family. Inside the harbor there are nine marinas, unique shopping, and great waterfront restaurants. The area is known for great beach walks, boating, surfing, whale watching, windsurfing, kayaking, scuba diving, jet skiing, snorkeling, and fishing. There's plenty to see and do in Ventura County for people of all ages. Visit beautiful nearby towns, such as Malibu, Santa Barbara, and Ojai. World class surfing out front.
The Channel Islands National Park is located only eleven miles off shore. By boat it only takes 1 hour to take you on an exciting day-long excursion to Anacapa or Santa Cruz island. These islands are home to more than 2,000 plant and animal species - some found nowhere else on Earth such as the channel Fox. The whole family will be in awe by exploring these wondrous islands. If you can't make it out to the islands head to the Ventura Harbor for the Channel Islands visitors center and put your hands in the touch tank!

Perfect location for a family vacation
We planned this trip for our dad‘s 90th birthday. His one request was to be able to watch the sunset from the beach. Glenn‘s house was perfect. We could not have asked for anything more. The house was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for meals at home. The sunset was gorgeous. We spent a lot of time playing games at the dining room table while watching the sunset. My only suggestion would be to have curtains available if the sun was too much. Thank you, Glenn for having us!

This was the perfect house for a family getaway for my 60th birthday! Glenn was friendly, proactive and responsive. My hubby and I, 2 adult kids and their partners, one 13 y/o and my dad all fit with room to spare. The home has a comfy, well-loved, lived-in feel that invites you to just settle in. It was the most well-stocked VRBO I’ve ever stayed in, with surprises in every nook and cranny. It even had a working ice maker and a random tambourine! There were cabinets filled with a great selection of DVDs, books, puzzle and games, and lots of beach toys in the garage, with room to park a car. We never even left the property! This middle of September weekend, there were few people on the beach the entire time. To save you some time trying to figure out the floor plan from the pics, here you go: Ground floor - 2 queen bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette and small living room with sliding doors that open to the sand. First floor - one queen bedroom, bathroom, main kitchen and living room with sliding doors to balcony with ocean view, plus master bedroom and attached bathroom with a working jacuzzi tub. Top floor - queen bedroom and patio, with access through stairs located in the master bedroom. Book it! You won’t regret it!

Very spacious, sunny and well equipped home right on the beach. It is on a very quiet street and very residential. But just 10 minutes away by car from shops and grocery stores. The property manager was easy to contact and quick to respond.

Amazing house
This house is everything as described, plus more. Plenty of sand toys, boogie boards, towels, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, the list goes on. The location was perfect, very quiet and always plenty of parking. Probably good to be aware that the loft bedroom is entered through one of the master bedrooms, but that wasn't an issue for us. The loft is also a very quiet area for the occasional "remote workers" in our group. Loved this house, and would definitely stay here again.

Great Customer Service!
We had a lovely time at the beach house. The few questions we had, were quickly answered by our Host, Glenn. He offers as much or as little service as you want or need. We opted for the Self-Check-in and “hands-off” approach, which he honored, just checking in by phone call or text if needed. Our family wanted to rent the home again next year, but the dates we are interested in are already booked a year in advance, so we will have to go elsewhere next time. We do hope to rent this home again! :)

Beautiful family vacation!
10 stars! This is an amazing vacation rental! I like details, so I will share a few here. When they said that everything you would need could be found in this house, they weren't kidding! The kitchen is well stocked with full dinner settings, lots of pots and pans, and miscellaneous cooking supplies and paper products. There was even a whole bunch of beach toys. The home is beautiful and opens to a private sand area on the grand floor, with a small living room and 2nd kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and the pull-out couch bed. There are lots of sitting areas in and outside. The 2nd floor is the primary gathering place for the family with the full kitchen and large living room perfect for the family games. Sliding glass doors line the wall to the outdoors with a wonderful balcony, also a favorite place to gather. There are also 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the 2nd floor,1 being the master. The last room on the 5th floor is roomy and spacious, however remember that it has to be reached by going through the master bedroom. That was no problem for us since we had teenagers who loved having the whole floor to themselves, but respectful not to walk through their parent's room. Our host Glenn checked in a couple times to make sure we weren't needing anything, which was much appreciated. We hardly saw any people, with most times all on our own. We loved the entire home, and will definitely make a return trip. Thank you for a great time.

Amazing family vacation!
Our family spent Memorial Day weekend here. We had 7 adults, 2 pre-teens and a baby. I spoke with Glen before and during the trip. He was always accessible and personable. I was initially nervous about the lack of air conditioning (as we live in the severely hot San Fernando Valley), but Glen made me feel more at ease about how cool it is in Oxnard. This weekend was actually cold! We did bring tower fans though so we could have air movement if we wanted. The house is beautifully decorated. The beds and furniture are comfortable. Everyone (including the tall and the wide) were comfortable. That is not always the case at other accomodations. Everything was well stocked (even ice and wood!) and the cooking equipment was in great condition: knives were sharp and my omelets didn't stick in the pan! The beach was sparsley used, which is amazing on a holiday weekend. The neighborhood was quiet. There is a tavern across the street. It is small but it was full of people! There are multiple places you can relax and watch the sun setting. Gorgeous. We used the firepit outside and made some great family memories. There is a closet full of games and books and even a game system to use. There really wasn't anything negative about our stay. This was probably the best VRBO rental we have had in ages.

Terrific in every way
The place was even nicer than the pics and description. Everything about it met or exceeded our expectations. Every bed was comfortable. Each room felt like its own private and special place. The view can't be beat. Parking was a cinch. Even the toilet paper was soft! Glenn was responsive and engaging. For our needs, it was perfect in every way except that it wasn't in Santa Barbara where our son was getting married. It was worth the driving we did.

The house is located on a great beach. Lovely sunsets from living room. Plenty of rooms for a large group. The listing notes that there is a hot tub but there is no hot tub at the home. It should be noted that the third floor bedroom can only be reached by walking through the master bedroom. The homeowner and manager are very quick to respond to questions.

Our group of women had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is wonderful, the house is well-appointed and the beds were very comfy. We had everything we needed for a fabulous weekend at the beach, including some amazing weather!! The home was absolutely beautiful. Loved the deco, loved the layout (lots of room for individuals to spread out when they needed alone time, plenty of space to gather in the central area), LOVED being on the beach in a very quiet, family-friendly area. The home was well stocked with the essentials: everything in the kitchen we needed (including a few essentials like salt & pepper, oil, sugar, pan spray, etc., which was a nice bonus because I didn't remember to purchase some of those things), plenty of towels, extra linens and blankets, fans, it was all very thoughtful. Appreciated the extra kitchen space downstairs. Spectacular views and lovely sea breezes blowing through the house. Easy to get to. Lots of parking. It was nice to have boogie boards and such for the kids. We loved every minute we spent there; it was balm for the soul and was honestly hard to leave!

Sister’s Wedding
My family & I were in town to celebrate our little sister’s wedding ! We grew up close by and wanted to stay @ the beach for a week prior to her weekend wedding. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home & the location could not have been more perfect ! Right on the sand in a less crowded part of the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for ! Glenn & Suzy could not have been more helpful or pleasant ! If I had to suggest one minor improvement, it would be the outdoor charcoal grill. It was a little small & a bit dirty. Would have loved a bigger grill or gas grill. It certainly won’t stop us from renting this amazing property again, as our family has already requested we do this again next year !! I cannot say enough good about this place!! It was perfect in every way, we had a week with our adult kids and grandkids. The room situation was perfect, the views were outstanding! The extra kitchenette and tv downstairs was an added bonus, perfect for a little quite time. There is also a refrigerator in the garage, sand toys for the kids, plenty of towels! The only suggestion would be a darker window treatment in the bedroom by the front door,,other than that, it was AWESOME!

We spent a week here with our family and had a blast. House was very clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable as well. House was stocked with plenty of extra towels, paper towels, toilet paper and everything else you would need. We had teenagers with us and they really enjoyed the space down stairs. Again, tons of room! Garage was fully stocked with whatever you need for your beach days. Check in process was super easy. Property manager was very easy to communicate with.
