Homewood was perfect for what we needed! Staff was great! We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options and Wednesday night reception. Hotel location was convenient to Old Town Trolley Tour stops and only about a mile walk to the historic shopping district. The only negative is the required valet parking. It felt like an unnecessary extra charge of $35 per night when there was an empty parking lot that could easily accommodate self parking. I don't appreciate being forced to valet. Everything else was excellent!
