We stayed in room 402 (1Queen). The bedroom was clean and efficient i.e. not a lot of extra space. The bathroom was solid with great hot water pressure in the shower.
Pros: Location, location, location. Skip Cannery Row and stay in Pacific Grove. Walk from the Inn to incredible viewpoints, tide pools, monarch sanctuary, and a cute downtown, but without all the commercialized tourism of Cannery Row.
Also, there is a gas fire pit. We really enjoyed capping our evening with a fire and a cocktail with the ambient lighting of the hot tub.
The neighborhood was very quiet.
Cons: It is a lot of money for a small motel room, but you're not staying here to sit in the room.
The shower head is mounted for a short human. I'm not that tall and I had to duck quite a bit. Any wear and tear was in the bathroom with a little rust and grime, but nothing that seemed unreasonable.
It is a solid place to stay. Would visit again.
