New federal laws promise transparency of fees to be charged. Didn't happen at this place. Room fee itself rang up $27 higher than displayed. And though a parking fee was vaguely "mentioned" on the internet site, the excessive $10 per day amount was not. In total, I paid $57 beyond what I'd planned on, above what was listed according to their online ad...which therefore did not give a true competitive price comparison with nearby hotels.... Had I known the true price, I would have stayed elsewhere. Because of this intentional deception on the hotel's part, I won't ever stay there again .... will steer others to stay elsewhere. Yes, I voiced this displeasure to the management who was there when I checked out. Buyer beware.

Don't waste your time
Stay away. First room had issues with toilet and non working heater. Transferred us to another room and shower would not drain and ended up in 6 inches of water. Hotel was not accommodating for as expensive as the room was. Plus you have to pay $10 a day to park in their lot. Staff was really rude and unfriendly. I hate to say it but Motel 6 was better then this including their customer service that is helpful when a problem arises there.

Towels were visibly stained, tissue in dispenser seem to have been siting under decorative plastic cover too long because they were all soaked probably due to humidity, bed was very hard, window was not able to open, and I had a bag of trash by the door/microwave that brought in so many ants. One late night I tried to get into the lobby for a beer, there was the overnight staff waiting for her coworker to open the door. I tried calling with the side phone and they did not answer so eventually I just left (though the clerk left in the cold tried to call me when she got in). Any time I tried to call the front desk no one would answer. I’m usually very easy going about stuff and definitely stayed at rougher hotels but this was disappointing for the price.

The pillows looked dingy, the shower temp wasn’t hot more like warm, the windows were dirty couldn’t even see the ocean, bad internet connection, had to pay for parking which is weird since it’s on tiger property, not worth the price.
