Nice Family Vacation
The property worked well for a family trip. There is a beautiful spot to enjoy the river just a few blocks away and we loved the Gnome Trail. The day trip to Mt Rainier National Park was great, and it would be an ideal place to stay while skiing at White Pass. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to work in. The only negative was there was absolutely no response from the property owner regarding local weather conditions, despite repeated messages.

Packwood Stay
We had a fun stay in Packwood. My daughter, son in law and grandkids stayed with us.The house was cozy and met our needs. The den was a bonus along with the dvds. The gnome walk is a short walk away and should not be missed. The grandkids loved it! Beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the large bathtub in the master bath. Sadly, the hot tub was broken but we were reimbursed some money for this. The outdoor fireplace had a leaky fitting and we were afraid to use it. Packwood has several restaurants and a grocery store for convenience. We had a nice, relaxing weekend.

Pluses and minuses
Property is decent and had the supplies that we needed. Much of the house was clean, but the hallway bathroom was very dirty, with rust stains all around the toilet and small bugs. There also was a bad smell in the hall bathroom as well as in the vent of the kitchen stove. But it was in a decent area and convenient to where we were going to be visiting,

Packwood Stay
We had a fabulous stay. We wanted a quiet place to stay with our pups for the fourth and while there were a few pops from nearby fireworks it was overall very quiet. The place was clean, spacious, and cool thanks to the AC units. It was beautiful being out in nature. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cute and cozy house. Comfy bed. Nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the hot tub. A block away there is a neat gnome garden and the river. We did not need to contact the property manager, everything went good,no issues whatsoever.

Amazing Experience
We booked our normal lives and escaped to this little house in the mountains. We had such a relaxing time, the hot tub was huge! We really enjoyed the home, very cozy and had room for all 3 of us and plenty more. Packwood is a cute little town with local food and coffee to die for! Looking forward to making this an annual trip for us, and maybe bringing the family sometime as well. Highly recommend and the host was super fast and communicating when we had questions.

The Expedia site showed a lot of spacing between cabins, but they were actually very close together. Loud construction going on next door. The neighborhood is a bit rundown. The inside of the house was very nice. I was expecting a wilderness feel but with small houses in front, back and both sides I didn’t feel like sitting outside. For the base cost plus all the fees on a 2 night stay I could have been in a 5* hotel instead!

Everything we needed
This home was perfect for our visit to Mt. Ranier. Very comfortable beds, had AC!, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed and more. Coffee Maker didn't work though, and we never contacted property manager about it - just improvised with the provided tea kettle. Loved sitting out back and enjoying the hummingbirds and butterflies in the garden. Packwood had little grocery store, gas station, and a few restaurants, so everything we needed was just minutes away and good location to go to Paradise and Sunrise....we had a great time. Highly recommend the Gondola at Crystal Mountain if you have a clear day - the views were amazing!

Wonderful gateway to Mt. Rainer NP
My family stayed this house for three days, and we enjoyed it very much. This is a large house, and it has plenty of space to hang out, or be private. it was very nice to have spaces to chill after a long day of exploring. All instructions are clear and easy to follow. It was hot days, and we didn't spend evening in the backyard, but during the night, we get to see the shooting star! Nice space there too. It takes about 10min to get to the downtown Packwood opposite way to Mt. Rainer, so it added extra to the park. (compared to time from Packwood) Park parking during Summer is very competitive (Sunrise parking was full by 9:30am during weekend in late July!) so, make sure to leave early! In the Packwood, both the brewery (Packwood Brewing Co) and coffee shop (The Mountain Goat) were cool place to eat/drink and we enjoyed it very much as well.

Fantastic Packwood rental
The property was very clean upon our check-in, and check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We did not want for anything in this rental! It had all the amenities we could hope for in the kitchen, bedrooms and living space. The backyard was a great bonus. We really enjoyed using the hot tub. It is about 10-15 minutes outside of Packwood, but a very easy drive. We will definitely look to stay here again on future trips to the area!

We decided to rent this house last minute for a ski getaway in between storms. We had just a few issues upon arrival that were handled well by management and we enjoyed our stay. We liked the fact it had to separate areas with TVs, video games etc. to separate the kids if needed.

Well stocked
After many VRBO stays I rate this home as one of the easiest to settle in to. The kitchen, the bathrooms, and the bedrooms have an abundance of clean towels blankets and bathroom tissue and every sink included liquid hand soap which was a pleasant surprise. The washer and dryer in the laundry room were top notch and here again well supplied. While the front door and some of the knobs in the kitchen could use a maintenance none of those items detracted from our stay. Any issues that I did have were quickly addressed and taken care of. Thank you Samantha and Emily for your assistance and quick response. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s location was perfect for our needs. We would definitely come back to this location for future stays.

Nice spot near Mount Rainier hiking
We stayed here with family for 4 days to explore Mount Rainier and do some hiking. The pros: It is a quiet location in a quiet neighborhood surround by trees and mountains. Lots of space for 4 adults and 1 child to not feel under each other's feet. The beds were comfortable. The grill, hot tub and deck were nice. The towels were all clean and very nice! The kitchen had almost everything we needed in it. Communication with owner was quick and friendly. There's a grocery store not far away (maybe a 10 minute drive) and every night at dusk a bunch of elk roamed in a big field right by the lodge/gas station on the main road. It was worth a see! The cons: A few days before we arrived we were notified that the second bathroom shower was broken. Mildly inconvenient for 4 adults, but that was ok. The issues that followed were not great. Right before we arrived we were told the cleaning crew was running late. When we arrived, it did not look like they had cleaned much. The floors and carpets were dirty (my kid found an errant advil pill on the carpet in his bedroom). I notified the owner and she apologized. However, the strong scent of mold grew worse over the weekend, I am guessing because of the broken pipe in the bathroom. I really hope they get that fixed--it was pretty bad. Other minor things to note: wifi/internet it spotty. There's no dishwasher. Other than that, it had everything we needed. Do not miss: one block over at the end of the cul-de-sac there is a community garden of fairies and gnomes. Sounds silly? We kind of scoffed but walked over there to show our kid who was over the moon! And we were all impressed. It was SO cool and fun and not something to scoff at. Enjoy!
