Delightful, spacious, yet cozy B&B. Our room was very spacious (2 Queen beds), large sitting area and nice bathroom. There are several upstairs and downstairs sitting areas. Coffee station and fridge in the rooms. The host prepared a delightful, full breakfast. It’s about a 10 minute walk to central downtown Paducah (Market House Square) where most of the shops and restaurants are located. Only 3 blocks from the National Quilt Museum. The house is new construction, but in the style of the original period of the neighborhood. It was part of city incentives to revitalize the “lower town art district” to build or renovate homes to include art studios for local artists. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again! Very reasonably priced.

Grand old Mansion on the main historic district. Neat to see the tall ceilings of yesteryear. Great breakfast and a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again.

A beautiful, quiet, exceptionally clean property with a wonderful breakfast made and served by the friendly proprietor. I don’t make it out Paducah very often but will gladly stay here again. It’s worth noting that the shower had excellent water pressure and heat.

Beautiful Bed-and-breakfast facility. Amazing room with lots of space and comfortable beds. It would’ve been nice to stay a little longer to enjoy how quaint this home was. If I ever come back to Paducah, this will definitely be the place to stay.

The breakfast was very delicious. I enjoyed talking with the owner my first day there since I was the only guest that day. The second day we had more guests, so the other guests were talking with the owner. Although I had problems with the tv, she did her best to solve the problem. The bed and especially the pillows were very comfortable. I enjoyed the balcony and the close proximity to the downtown.

Perfect gem!
We are so glad we found The Respite. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent. Not realizing breakfast was included, they texted us to let us know they had breakfast in the kitchen for us. It was a wondeful stay.
