This hotel is lacking basic amenities. No hand soap available, after we checked in we were informed that they were out of hand/bar soap…..seriously no one could go 1.5 blocks to Walmart and get some hand soap…. Then we went to get ice, nope machine on the 2 nd floor doesn’t work. We take the elevator, doors don’t close, right away… breakfast, only 1 side of the toaster works, again Walmart is 1.5 blocks away from hotel. Please hotel manager put some care into the hotel to make it rentable.

I completed my on line check in before we arrived. When we got to the hotel the manager had not printed off the paperwork so I had to repeat the process including credit card and vehicle information. The hotel is seriously lacking in maintenance. Lights did not work in the bathroom. The in room coffee maker did not work and when I asked to have it replaced they stated that they didn't have another one to replace it with and no offer of getting one from another room to replace it. There often was not enough coffee made in the central dining area for us to get a coffee and we had to travel away from the hotel to a near by gas station for our coffee. The carpet is filthy and the security doors to the outside of the building did not work and and loud everytime it was opened. Not secure in anyway as it did not shut completely unless pulled shut. Overall the hotel staff was pleasant, just not very helpful in these situations.

Because of the name "super 8", I thought I made a mistake in booking not until we reach the place and spent 5 nights. Price is reasonable and a good base if you plan to visit all of the nice spots.

A good place to stay for 2 nights. Located beside many hotels and is 5-10 minutes drive from the eateries. Breakfast offered some breads, cereal, waffles, milk & coffee and bananas. Choices are limited. The only warm food offered is waffle. We appreciated that the room is clean and beds are ok. Good for a short stay.
