This privately owned and beautifully presented 2 bed bungalow with all home comforts (inc. air/con). In a quiet residential area with a pool & private gardens.Only a short walk to local bars, restaurants & supermarket. and only a 5 minute drive or a 10-15 minute leisurely walk to the beach & Moraira town centre which is 1 mile away. Inside the bungalow there are 2 well sized bedrooms, lounge/diner with sofa-bed, a kitchen a bathroom with bath & shower.The property also benefits from air con/heating, a washing machine, iron, TV with free fast WiFi, DVD player (selection of DVD's) ,Xbox 360 (a selection of games) bluetooth speaker, microwave,kettle, toaster and complimentary toiletries.There is off road parking located at the front and at the rear there is a peaceful residential pool with gardens. Attached to the property, there are garden and terrace areas, ideal for sunbathing and barbecues with ample sunbeds and seating and an enclosed terrace with table & chairs,. There is rattan sofa table and chairs supplied with a parasol for those moments you need a cool rest or a read of your book also perfect for sipping a glass of wine and alfresco dining. Do not just take our word for it read our reviews. In the winter months we have lots of heating available- a log fire - 3 oil filled radiators.
Exterior facilties: Local activities include diving, cycling, fishing, 2 golf courses, horse riding, mountain biking, go carting, sailing, swimming, tennis and walking. The property is less than 30 mins away by car from Benidorm with an array of attractions including Mundarmar and animal water park. Aqualandia a themed swimming park and Terra Mittica a huge fun park with some of the largest rides in Europe. The picturesque village of Guadalest is really worth a visit, it is set in the mountains with a beautiful aqua blue reservoir stretching out below. Other nearby towns include Calpe (popular with climbers for the Calpe Rock) Benissa, Teulada Benitachell, Javea and Denia where you can take a ferry trip to Ibiza. Our favourite place to visit is the beautiful city of Valencia which is easy to drive to (1hr 15) or on the train where you pass through beautiful orange groves and rice fields (Valencia is famous for their paella) .Moraira is a cosmopolitan coastal resort, which boasts a large selection of upmarket and traditional bars and restaurants. This is an exclusive area allowing you to have a pleasant and tranquil holiday in the sun. For the shoppers among you, there is a weekly market every Friday morning, and interesting choices of shops from trendy boutiques to Chinese bazaars for bargain hunters.
For families with children, there is a local fair ground for all ages, astro turf areas for a kick about and safe-beaches nearby.

Comfortable in a lovely area
Well placed accommodation for beaches, supermarkets and cafe/bars. Villa has very good outdoor space and easy access to the beautiful shared pool. Kitchen and bathroom "cozy" but accommodation is otherwise comfortable. A welcome return for us to the area and very helpful approach by Chris & Barrie

Great base and pool all to ourselves.only thing I would say is you need a car as the hill up is very steep. Local restaurants good and a short stroll downhill into moraira. Just a killer climbing the hill back and now there is a metal gate blocking the entrance so you have to walk even further up and round. But owners are going to sort a key for that gate when they next go out there. Everything was home from home in the bungalow. Nice quiet area. Would recommend

Great Holiday
The property provided everything we needed and the pool was great. Managed to have it all to ourselves every day. Would certainly recommend car or taxi as the hills can be quite a work out. We were happy to walk down and taxi back but the taxis are reasonable and only cost 7 euros from the centre of Moraira back to the bungalow

We had a great week in Moraira staying in this wonderful bungalow on El Portet. The house is well equipped and the hosts provided a great guide to the area, had excellent local tips on bars and restaurants, and were very responsive when we had any questions. Easy 15 minute walk into the centre and down to the beach, with a wide choice of good bars and restaurants. Moraira is very hilly so great for cyclists who like a challenge !

Winter cycling getaway
The house was great, but we weren't as lucky with the weather and weren't able to take advantage of the super terrace. Also, as seniors, we found the roads too busy for cycling, though drivers were, without exception, very patient and considerate.

Our third visit and yet again we were very happy with our stay. A real home from home. Veranda in our minds a big plus as you can even sit out there if it happens to rain. Enjoyed our lunches at Ca Pepe and walking down to Monroe's Carvery for an evening meal. Plenty to do in area (apart from eating....).

ANOTHER PLEASANT VISIT TO THIS BEAUTIFUL VILLA
We promised we`d be back! . . After discovering this beautiful villa in July 2015, I brought my Parents over to Moraira, where they lived for 15yrs, and couldnt think of anywhere else nicer to stay with them. They were suitably impressed with the immaculate layout and wonderful facilities. They even commented how comfortable the beds were! Having very few steps suited them, as they`re 86 & 84. Everything you could need is catered for and the owners are a delight to deal with . . did I say I`m booked for July, again! . . Many thanks Barrie & Chris

A beautiful Villa in beautiful Moraira.
We have just returned from our lovely break at this small villa. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Casa Del Paz had everything we needed & more. There was no need for me to take things like shower gel, hair shampoo/conditioner or even my hair straighteners as everything was already there. Casa Del Paz was like home from home, it had a very friendly & homely feel about it so we didn't even feel like we were staying in someone else's home. Chris & Barrie the owners have thought everything out very carefully giving their clients exactly what they need.......A hassle free holiday. I have visited Moraira many times before as my mum lived there for many years. The area has changed a lot over the years especially the last few and for the better. They love a roundabout now lol. The area is becoming very upmarket & the restaurants show this. We had some lovely meals out at the CAVA (in town) & MAGIA (on the main road towards Calpe). We visited the beaches at El Portet & Moraira. Both were very clean & tidy. Moraira beach has a play park for young kids & also a volley ball net for older kids. We met Julie the property manager. She popped in just to check everything was ok. She maintains the property to a high standard & was very helpful. Thank you Chris & Barrie for a hassle free holiday. LOVELY VILLA
We spent three weeks here in September and we found the villa very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is close enough for a nice walk into Moraira or El Portet and we would definitely rebook Chris and Barrie's villa.

Traditional Spanish Casa, with added extra's
We have stayed in lots of rental properties, and this is by far one of the best in its price range, the owners really go the extra mile to help, before and during your stay. The location is great, very peaceful, and in lovely grounds, but its not isolated. A car is useful, but not essential as you can walk into Moraira easily in about 15 minutes. The outside space is ideal, it was quiet when we were there, but I cannot imagine the pool area being too busy even in the height of season, as the pool is huge for the number of villas that share it (we had it to ourselves the whole time we were there) The property is really well equipped, and exactly as advertised. Its also very safe and secure. The beds were very comfortable and linen and towels very good quality. The property would be ideal for winter rentals as there is a log burner which was very effective as well as heating (which we did not need in the evening, as the log burner was enough!!) The surrounding area's of El Portet and Moraira are lovely, unspoilt and still very "Spanish" I would definitely recommend this property without hesitation. We loved it and hope to return.. for longer next time. - thanks again Chris and Barrie! (ps thanks for the wine on arrival - very enjoyable!!)

Wonderful holiday: a home-from-home
We had a wonderful holiday in this bungalow. The owners Barrie & Chris, & their site manager (Julie) made it very welcoming. It was very clean and so well kitted out it felt more like I was borrowing someone's home than just staying in a rental property. The gardens are lovely for sunbathing and the pool is clean & well-kept. We loved having our breakfast & lunch on the verandah, in the shade. Being within walking distance of El Portet beach is a real bonus (though I do recommend a taxi for the uphill walk back!) and in Moraira itself there is so much to do - nice shops, and so many lovely places to eat. I can't wait to go back to this lovely holiday villa!

Xmas & New Year in Moraira
We arrived in the rain, but, with the help of Julie the manager, we soon settled in to our little bungalow which we found to be very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. As it was December, it felt cold,inside, but heaters were provided in every room. The kitchen was very well equipped and with the help of the fridge/freezer, gas oven and microwave, we managed to cook some surprisingly good meals. The nearby supermarkets were all excellent as was also the little English Quick Save in town which stocks lots of English products quite cheaply. We need't have worried about the weather, as a few days later, the clouds went and we had three weeks of glorious sunshine. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks into town every morning for coffee and one beautiful Saturday, we even hiked up to the tower overlooking El Portet, although it is more of a climb than a walk, but the views are magnificent. The neighbours nearby were all very freindly, as were the English people who run the nearby Jacaranda Bar/Restaraunt ; they even made room for us to join The Three Kings dinner party on Jan 6th even though it was fully booked when we arrived. To sum up, Moraira is a lovely little town and the bungalow proved the perfect place for us to explore the surrounding areas of Javea and Jalon Valley. It was the first time we had used EasyJet and driven from the airport, but it was a lot lesss daunting than expected and we enjoyed avery minute of our stay - can't wait to do it all again.

Too old and too many defects
Nice location. The kitchen is very outdated and badq. Stove is dangerous, the frames are unstable. The low quality watertap splashes. As well as in the bathroom. The sofa is worn. Last but not least, we found a very derty greasy kitchen. TV is no smart TV Coffee makers are not from this time.
