Spanish rustic gem by the sea
It is not easy to find good accommodation for 3 people and a dog but this cottage ticks all the boxes. The house has so much character and the garden is heavenly with all its exotics trees and shrubs. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, a very well equipped kitchen and overall a very homely feel. Situated 2kms from the nearest beach, the house ensures rest and relaxation but many other coves are just a few kms away,as well as all the shops, cafés and restaurants. So take you pick. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Enric for your nice welcome and help. we will definitely return. Isabelle and Jonathan Sept 2023

A home from a story book
Wonderful grounds love by us and 2 dogs, comfortable accommodation and loved open fire on chillier November evenings. Wonderful hosts and so close to 3 beaches, Palafrugell and great visits to botanical gardens and Gerona was within an hour and loved. So many personal touches to this property to make a stay magical in every way.

Fairytale house in its own park
Such a friendly, special property because of its very personal history of the owners and the quirky architecture. And entering throigh a gate to a large garden/park/estate with squirrels and rabbits and birds. Loved it! The location is close enough to walk to tamariu, llafranc, palafrugell.

A haven of peace
A really homely and quirky house, built and maintained with love, expertise and wit. We loved watching the birds and bats swooping around the garden, and hearing the Scop’s owl as darkness fell. A comfy and well-equipped house. We also enjoyed dining on the terrace in the shade. A great location for visiting the beautiful bays of Tamariu and Calella. Thanks to Enric and Nuria - such thoughtful hosts!

Excellent house, friendly owner
A very pleasant rural house, located about 2km from the sea. Distant sea views. Quiet location, set in several acres of private woodland. Well appointed house, full of historical charm, yet with good modern facilities, such as wifi. One double, one twin and one single bedroom. If fully occupied by five people, would best suit a family rather than friends as one bedroom is effectively accessed through another. Owner very friendly and helpful. I had some confusion with Homeaway about payment, and the owner kindly spent some time trying to resolve matters for me. Would strongly recommend.

Such a unique quiet relaxing place
This house is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. Set in its own grounds it is a haven of peace and tranquillity. It is very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As we were there in April the evenings could be quiet chilly the owner Enric made sure we had plenty of wood for the log burning fire meaning we could spend many cosy evenings in front of the beautifully carved fireplace. We flew our bikes over with a plan to explore the area this way. We were certainly not disappointed the roads were quiet and the local area stunning. We enjoyed our weeks stay in this oasis of calm very much.

Unique
What a stunning place to stay, you are a few minutes drive from several beaches but you feel as if you are in your own parkland listening to the birds. The house is totally unique, beautiful carved wood dominates and I likened it to a hobbit house. The upstairs bedroom is on an open mezzanine level and double doors lead onto a large terrace with partial views to the sea, a lovely spot to have breakfast. There is a toilet and small sink on that level and the main bathroom is downstairs behind the kitchen, there is a shower over the bath that is functional but not great. To sum up, I wouldn't change a thing apart from upgrading the shower, it is a peaceful place full of character and we were sad to leave.

Authentiek oud huis op prachtig terrein
Het is een mooi oud huis, bijna alles klopt met de foto’s (er is geen bad). Prachtig eigen terrein.Minder geschikt bij regenachtig kouder weer, omdat het huis dan erg koud is (ondanks het stoken) en vochtig (met name de slaapkamer beneden)Wij komen zeker een keer terug in een ander seizoen.

Very nice stay
The stay was very nice. The landlord couple was super friendly and accommodating. The large garden is very well maintained and there was plenty of space. This accommodation is highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

Das Haus, das Grundstück und die Lage sind etwas Besonderes. Wer eine ruhige Zeit verbnringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist ein rustikales, schönes Landhaus mit liebevoll gestalteten Details. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber.

Very good!
We had a wonderful time. The house is so authentic, so complete and clean. Perfect! The surroundings are calm and peaceful. We stayed without children, but it is also a very good place to stay with children. They have plenty room to play and the beaches are nearby.

Fantastisch huis om je vakantie te vieren vooral als je een hond bij je hebt
Alles was geweldig! Keurig netjes en schoon! En wat een fantastische plek! Je eigen villa! Een Hobbit huis , alles was overdacht en alles aanwezig ! Je kan het zo gek niet bedenken of het was aanwezig ! Geweldige tuin , eigenlijk een heel privé bos! Wij hebben enorm genoten , zeker de moeite waard om hier te verblijven ! Bedankt Enric dat wij onze vakantie hier mochten doorbrengen ! Genoten van jullie Hobbit huis met alle uilen !
