Good but not great
When you travel to a new place, the little details can make all the difference between a good experience and a great one! This was our first-ever VRBO experience, and we have mixed feelings. First, the positives. The unit was as described, clean, and in an excellent location for our activities. However, the walls are paper-thin, and we could hear the people next door as if they were in our unit.Second, the online instructions must be updated to make them more helpful. Specifically, there are three garage locations at European Village. Direct guests to seek out Building A parking garage. A unit description of "Unit A302-B" did not jump out to us as to where to go. Third, the online instructions did not tell us that we needed to enter the # key at the keyless entry pad to gain access. Instead, they just stated that we needed a 4-digit code. This was very frustrating.Fourth, communication with the Host was challenging. Three days prior, I sent an email asking for a two-hour earlier check-in, but this email was never responded to. One day prior, I texted the Host and repeated the request. The Host responded (6 hours later) and advised, "I will keep you posted; it all depends on when the cleaner is done." We never heard back. Fifth, the hair dryer was not working. We texted the Host, who responded, "I will contact my cleaner and see when she can drop one off." We never heard back.I guess our Host just didn't value our business.
