Check in was at 3pm. We arrived at 4pm. Front desk checked us in and when we got to the unit, a housekeeper was still cleaning. She seemed shocked that we were there. The room configuration online was also incorrect. In the description it said there was a twin size couch pullout. That was not accurate. The air conditioning was also not working great. Steven and Justin rode over in a golf cart and apologized for all the issues. They told me the room would be reimbursed in full. I told them I booked through Hotels.com and they said it was a simple process they were aware of and that they would take care of it. Our group was getting ready for our concert while housekeeping tried to finish cleaning the unit. We had to scurry from room to room as sections were cleaned and ready for us. We had to get dressed inside the walk in closet and got creative with sharing the master bathroom mirror. We left the unit behind schedule and barely made our concert. I also called the office to request toilet paper and never got a call back. Fast forward to 14 days later and the hotel has yet to approve the refund to Hotels.com. I have been copied on several emails from Hotels.com to The Villas at Emerald Suites and they have refused to respond. I have also stayed on hold many times while Hotels.com has tried to call. These calls are also ignored. Don’t stay here. They’re unorganized and liars. They made me a false promise of reimbursement so now I have to contact my cc to dispute charges.

Super nice staff and very accommodating of my late arrival. Temps were in the 110’s and the AC was ice cold. The bed was pretty comfy though the bedding was more polyester than I like. (Makes me sweat) the kitchen was small but fairly well stocked with a fridge/freezer, a cook top, tea kettle and a kuerig for coffee. Good selection of dinnerware and pots and utensils. If I wanted to cook, I could have. The two things that bugged me and lowered my rating: 1) there was coffee but no sugar or creamer - not even the fake crap. 2) the floor in the bedroom felt like it had big holes under the carpet - it was a minefield and I tripped twice. (No harm done just lots of swearing)

Nice place to stay
Overall it was spacious and nice. The grounds were a bit rough, and the grass was pretty dead, but it was summer and hot. Units could use carpet to be replaced with Tile, which might be cleaner for all. All who worked there were very kind. We will stay there again.

It was good, but the washing machines were not working, the laundry was closed, there were no extra bedding, and a cleaning person opened the door of the villa on Saturday morning and woke us up when we had to rest, "She said she was wrong "For the rest, a very quiet and excellent place to rest

The grounds and RV sites are well maintained. The Villas are very old. Doubtful if they have been renovated in multiple decades. I’m not sure how it’s possible to be clean yet dirty at the same time. It’s clear the cleaning and maintenance staff are doing their best, but it’s overall grubby. It felt uncomfortable to take shoes off or sit down. A couple bright spots: the kids had fun at the pool and the beds and sheets were very clean. Surprisingly, we slept fine for the one night we stayed. Would not stay again even at the low $100 rate.

I loved the Villa I stayed in it was very close to the Acrisure Arena. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. It had pretty much everything I needed. Small kitchen with every possible appliance and tools. The place was well stocked with every necessity in each room. They offered coffee with a coffee machine in room. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The amenities weren’t used but maybe in a less windy day it would have been great to dip into the swimming pool or jacuzzi. I was pleased with the service and attention to detail. Staff was really friendly too and helped me locate my room which I missed and drove away from since the lettering was pretty hidden but once I found the room, the parking was right upfront and easy to get to. I would only request a body length mirror if possible. I was hoping to be able to see more than just my head but otherwise I felt really happy with everything offered at this property, would stay again.

It was an excellent stay, great staff greeting as you arrive. I have been to Palm Desert plenty of times & didn't you could stay in a Villa at his resort, always thought it was only for RVs only. So definitely will keep in mind for future. The only con a minor one, is that the blinds in the bedroom don't block out the sun, so could use some blackout curtains to block sunlight. Other than that great stay, recommended for all!

Our Villa was clean and comfortable. We got in late, but getting our key and paperwork was easy. Finding our Villa in the dark was a little challenging. Once we figured out that Santa Rosa 2 that was listed on paperwork was shown on the villa as Santa Rosa II(Roman numeral), we were good to get into the place. We did not use any of the amenities on the property, as we departed the next morning. We would definitely stay there again!

this was a very large and comfortable room the dressing and bathroom area were amazing great lighting and space we were attending a wedding. All was very clean and private with the separate bungalows. However the rooms did not have in room phones so it was not easy to communicate with the front office.
