I originally reviewed this property and could not give it more than 2 stars due to the many factors that were not up to par. I should mention firstly that the mgr of this Motel 6 was very nice! The manager reached out to us after we arrived home from our trip and offered us a partial refund due to our unhappiness with the room. Based on this effort, am upping my review to reflect on this satisfactory resolution. It is a Motel 6 and it should be remembered that you need to provide your own amenities such as a hair dryer, clock and Kleenex etc.

This is a very basic hotel. Our room was on the highway side which was rather loud. The bed was small and hard. The room was large but very basic and dated. It was fine for one night but I wouldn't stay there for more than that.

This property needs to updated big time. The room we were in had only one electrical plug that worked and that was by the bathroom sink. Because of that my wife could not use her CPAP machine which means she didn’t sleep very much the two nights we stayed.

Very pleasant 1st time stay.
I reserved my first overnight stay at this location upon my monthly visit to the Coachella Valley. It is very clean and well-maintained 2 story property located on Highway 111 in Rancho Mirage. I was greeted by Anthony upon my arrival. He was very pleasant and professional. The room was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was also clean. At night the property was very well lit and quiet. Depending on the location of the room. I was assigned Room #248 Since the building is facing Highway 111 the rooms facing South are exposed to the sound of traffic during peak hours. However, the sounds tend to diminish at night. Despite this I would definitely recommend and return to this location in the future.

Terrible Room
The room had dirty walls, toilet seat broken, security lock on door broken/missing (dent by lock like someone had tried to break in), bathroom grout filthy dirty on floor, hair on shower wall, mattress was horrible and made noises when you sat on it. No kleenex in room.

It’s ok
Hotel was basic, the bed had a dip in the middle of it. I’d suggest taking your own pillows, they were too soft and did not have more to offer. If using the restroom in the middle of the night, the light switch also turned on the counter sink area so it could wake up others sleeping in the room (should have its own switch). It’s a Motel 6, nothing great or fancy.
