Several things in the room were broken or inoperative...one lamp wouldn't turn on, the lock on the sliding door was bent, and a piece of the card reader outside the door fell off. Their wifi was painfully slow, but at least they had it.

Great budget motel
Great location in Palm Springs. Not far from Indian Wells Tennis Courts and close to lake Cahuilla. Parking onsite. Spacious room. Fridge was very handy. Lots of restaurants within 5 min walk.

Had a car problem and had to find a quick hotel in Indio. This one was perfect. Clean, quiet and easy to find. Restaurant next door was good also. The lady at the desk was so friendly and made us feel at home.

Well the lady who checked us was very nice. I asked if the jacuzzi was hot and ready. She stated the jacuzzi is not working. Ugh. Long day of riding motorcycles we wanted a jacuzzi to sit in. Another bad thing is, the shower head is low for a midget! All the rooms had midget showers! Not what you would expect in a hotel. The rooms were clean and plenty of surveillance cameras for for security.

Rooms are not sound proof at all. Conversations from adjucent rooms can be heard very clearly. Heating /cooling did not work properly.

The staff were so friendly, I called to let them know we would arrive after midnight and there was no problem, arrived at 2:30AM, checked in quickly, gave us a great room. Quiet area and very clean. Will definitely return to this Hotel if we ever go back to Coachella. Price was really great too.

Our choice of the best thing about Royal Plaza Inn
Through the years we have become regulars at Royal Plaza Inn & they are going through numerous changes and updating the premises but the most important thing my family wants to review is about a specific employee “Nicole” who is the best employee we have ever had the pleasure to meet, always positive, knowledgable & able to keep up morale with so many things happening that could easily upset or bring others down.We have stayed at numerous hotels & I am happy to review most but in this case, I must say that Nicole has been by far the 🌟 best all-around employee & the main reason we have frequently stayed at Royal Plaza Inn & We wish she could somehow be noticed for her 5-star service even where it's not the easiest place to make others so comfy & content. She is not family, never met before staying here but my family wants to share our opinion and she is the best thing about Royal Plaza Inn.
