Magnolia Cottages by the Sea, is a bright and cheerful home with three bedrooms and three baths accommodating up to six. Impeccably furnished, one step inside and you’ll feel right at home in this coastal haven fashioned for comfort and relaxation. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, and impeccable finishes all enhance the design, while generous windows throughout bring the outdoors in. The family room is an ideal spot for watching a movie on the large flat-screen TV. Prepping snacks and meals is a breeze in the fully-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of cabinets and counter space. Cozy bedrooms welcome you in after a day of exploration and bathrooms are cheerful and bright. Gather together on the spacious screened-in porch and share tales of the day and plan adventures for tomorrow. When the day is done, retire to the master suite with a king-sized bed, or one of two guest suites, one with a king-sized bed, the other featuring a queen bed, each with its own bathroom. You’ll find a full-sized washer and dryer for added convenience and parking for three vehicles.

Access the beach in minutes or rent bikes and explore the many beachside communities dotted along the Timpoochee Trail. Pass by marsh lakes, sandy dunes, and charming coastal neighborhoods while meandering along the paved, tree-lined path. Parties, events, bachelor and bachelorette parties are strictly prohibited, and an adult chaperone must accompany guests under 25 throughout their stay. Great house. However, make sure you read this
Let me start saying the rental company is excellent. They communicate to you first via text and email. So no worrying about finding out how to get in touch To be clear, rented the wrong place by accident. Is what it is. House is very nice. 3 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. Everything is nice and clean The major major issue is the beach. Is there a private gate with a passcode ? Yes. Are you able to use the beach there? Absolutely not. You have to walk to the public beach which is a quarter mile up. What in the world. Save the trouble and go to the right and go straight to public beach. However, the idea this is steps from the beach is a little disingenuous. Also, this is one of the few houses in this neighborhood that doesn't include golf cart. It really really needs one. Would we stay here again? No. Beach access is a killer. But very nice house and if that's what you're looking for it's great

Family Vacation 2023
Such a beautiful home with all stated amenities. The community was beautiful and quiet. Our only complaint was the 0.5 mile walk to the beach and the 4 flights of stairs that you had to go down to get to the beach. Overall the home, beaches, shopping, and food were all fabulous! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Comfortable rental
We rented as an overflow for Christmas gathering with family. It is a great layout. Due to the cold weather, we did not get to enjoy the porch or bikes. This is a convenient location off of 30 A and close to Publix. The beach access is very convenient as well. The kitchen was well stocked with mixing bowls, mixer, pots/pans and casserole baking dishes to use for Christmas. The beds were comfortable which is important. We would stay here again and enjoy this WaterHouse neighborhood. We stayed here two years ago at Christmas.

Happy as a clam!
Nice 3 bed 3 bath house. Love the enclosed back porch where we had breakfast and lunch almost every day. The house was clean and well maintained. The four bikes included in rental were an added plus given that house is towards the rear Magnolia. And if you need to rent chairs and umbrellas the folks at La dolce vita we discovered would set it up for you. Something that scenic rentals was not aware of.

Near Perfection in Magnolia Cottages By the Sea
The cottage was exactly as pictured. It was very clean. The kitchen was more than well stocked and had everything we needed. We also appreciated having a gas grill. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the porch! It was a great place to enjoy morning coffee, read a book or have dinner. While the cabinets and floor were a bit worn in places, it was not an issue. It actually added some lived-in charm. Our only issue was with the internet that was sometimes spotty. While we rebooted several times, there were times when it did not fix the issue. Overall, a great place to stay!

Wonderful Week at the Beach
We had an amazing time staying at 18 Vizcaya Lane. We loved the neighborhood and how shaded and quiet everything was. The beds were super comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The shed outside with beach equipment was a major plus (Chairs, Umbrellas, Boogie Board, Pool Noodles, Bikes). The only negative would be that the private beach access let's you out on a private beach you cannot use, which means you had to walk further in the sand to get to an open spot. We ended up just using the public access down the road everyday (which still is not far away or a bad walk at all). We would definitely stay here again!

Adorable cottage..but....
Love the cottage...beautiful decorated, lovely back porch, amply equipped with everything you could need EXCEPT internet. Unfortunately, my husband and I still needed to login for work and the internet signal is non-existent and the cell service is even worse. We understand that the area was extremely packed and at peak demand but it was hard to work around.

Fabulous cottage and neighborhood with small issues.
This was a wonderful place to stay: quiet, charming, clean, well appointed and well laid out. We walked to the beach barefoot and it took about 7 minutes to get feet into the sand. We will try to stay here or elsewhere in Magnolia Cottages again b/c it's so private and quiet once you're home after time at the beach. Our only complaints are that the wifi here is actually pretty terrible. It was a serious headache trying to use it. Another small problem was that the overhead light and ceiling fan on the porch was inoperable. We even went to the local CVS to get a new battery for the remote control but to no avail. Perhaps we just didn't know how to operate it. Otherwise: great cottage and great location!

Great house and location
We had a great time. This isn’t our first time staying in this neighborhood but the first time in this house. It was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, everything you might need to cook was there. We used the grill on many occasions. Bedrooms were spacious. Due to the weather that wasn’t as nice as previous years, we really enjoyed the covered patio. The lights on it were adding that little extra to the atmosphere. The kids like the swing. Next time, it would be great to know the house has bikes and beach chairs and umbrella so we don’t have to bring ours. If the house is available next time we have a trip planned in the area, we will definitely rent it again.

We very much enjoyed our stay and the property was just like in the photos. Access to pool and beach was very good. To improve the experience the Netflix in the living room needs to addressed so visitors can access it, and hairdryers need to be provided in each living room. Also the burners on the stove top on the right side did not function well and the exhaust fan appeared to be misaligned.

Fantastic beach house!
This beach house was FANTASTIC. Only a short 5 minutes walk to the beach & comes with beach chairs, bikes & more. The property owner was quick to respond if needed & the house was clean. The only thing I’d take note of is to bring your own beach towels & get EVERYTHING you need from the grocery store ahead of time. A lot of rentals have basics like salt/pepper, oil, etc, but there wasn’t anything like that here. Other than not expecting that, you have everything you need!
