This is an old resort hotel. Its kept up very well. Rooms are clean and good size. Property is landscaped nice. Staff is excellent. There are only 4 or 5 floors....not 40. All the rooms have a patio or balcony that overlooks the beach! Beach is at your door! Heated pool. Bar and grill at the pool. Hot tub. The best sunsets!

Building is in terrible need of Maintenance!!!!! It needs Pressure washing, painting, and floor care. I would not recommend to anyone to stay there. the room was ok but again the maintenance of the building is unacceptable.

Nice view, but that’s about it
This place is in dire need of a renovation. Multiple spots in the ceilings throughout the hotel are literally falling in, furniture is very rough, drains severely clogged in tubs and sinks. Mold on our balcony. Much of our one-night stay wreaked of weed. Couldn’t enjoy our balcony because the horrid skunk weed smell. Beds very uncomfortable. The best thing about this place is that it’s on beach. The restaurant has very good food and a fun, inviting atmosphere. The hotel staff was meh.

For the price it’s Ok
First time staying here at this hotel because everything was booked because of the bike race. First and foremost, the important was I did NOT see one bug and that is the highest importance to me. 😃 The hotel was very rundown, needs lots of renovations. The front desk people were so so. But all the employees that walked by my room while I was sitting on the balcony on the bottom floor were so friendly, and they had very nice towels, which surprised me. The betting was nice, but the bed was rockhard. They did have a pool and a barn grill that looked pretty good but I did not use. I booked the king/kitchenette which everything works fine, I just thought they’d have a little bit more in the kitchen cupboards to use since they had a full kitchen. But I always come prepared and had some things with me. I found it disturbing that they charged you for ice and some guy said it was seven dollars a bag, wow!!!. But if you’re looking for cheap price in a rating of 3.. This would be your hotel to stay at. I always stay at the beachcomber But they were booked.

Hotel was very accommodating. They took care of our entire wedding party. Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Staff was excellent, they all went above and beyond. Definitely can't wait to go back!

Nice stay for Thunder Beach Fall Rally. Great parking for trailers, motorcycle parking also. Everything was very nice, overall. Some very minor details, TV remote didn't work, no big deal. Toilet paper holder in the bathroom was Glued & Gooked" to the wall. Again, very minor stuff
