Generelt tilfreds med opholdet, der var dog nogle ting der ikke var godt! Bookningen fejlede, bestilte 2 værelser med havudsigt, men der var kun et ved ankomst! Sengene var meget hårde og ubehagelige at ligge på, forsøgte at få det udbedret men det lykkedes ikke!

Great hotel
The staff at the hotel were very friendly whenever we had interactions with them. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and had all of the basics that you need for a break away from normal life/a holiday. Breakfast was buffet-style and there were a wide variety of options that catered for all dietary needs. The hotel is situated a 3-minute walk to the nearest beach and you can walk directly along the coastline down the beaches to find a spot that’s ideal for your needs.

I have stayed in hotels all around the world but the reception staff at this hotel are one or if not the worst and condescending I have ever had to deal with especially for a four star hotel. I always judge the hotels by how they conduct and try and help the customer but this fell very short of the mark unfortunately, maybe more training and a change at reception may improve. I thought we were the only ones but listening to the other guests it seems the same old issue and most didn’t want to say anything just in case any reprisals may go against them. The hotel has different prices so inland cheapest side view mid and sea view highest rate, we opted for the side view which I was told I can see the sea, instead I was looking at a brown dead field and if I wanted to see the sea I would have to hang from my balcony just to get a glimpse. The rooms are ok a few things missing no long mirrors to see yourself it was only possible in the lift mirrors, the mirror in the room was so high up that when my wife was trying to put on her makeup sitting down she could only see the top of her head, made me laugh! If you want and iron there is one room next to reception with one iron and an ironing board that seen better days so if two or more people wanted to iron their clothes you would have to queue and wait. I could go on but it was not all bad the breakfast was very good and had a lot of choices so that was good, and the staff where very friendly and accommodating, Shame for the money.

Evalena Beach is a good hotel, with mid-size, fairly basic rooms which were cleaned daily. Towels were changed daily however these & the beach towels definitely need replacing as they appear old & well used. The mattress we found to be very comfortable and the shower room modern and clean, though not a lot of space for your personal toiletries. Small fridge in the room which didn’t keep drinks very cold but a welcome large bottle of water in the room when we arrived. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast offering is of a good standard with a selection of hot & cold options, yoghurts, breads and pastries etc. Drinks were self service from 3 machines in the area which were always very busy and crowded but clean. The hotel is well located, a short distance from the main areas but walkable within 10 minutes. The pool area is very small & unfortunately we were never able to find a sunbed during the whole period of our stay due to people placing towels on the beds from very early each morning so we are unable to comment further on this facility. Our main gripe with this hotel is the unfriendliness of the staff. They all appear very aloof and keep their heads down to avoid making eye contact when entering and leaving the building. We heard a few people ask if a late check out was available, including ourselves, however I didn’t hear of anyone being offered one, even though the hotel didn’t appear to be full. We felt the reception staff could have been friendlier.

A very pleasant hotel with friendly staff. But I just hate that people think it’s ok to reserve sun beds before breakfast and then not use them until late morning. It’s not fair to everyone and should be stopped. This happened every day and in the end we went to the beach a 10 minute walk away.

On entering the room I noticed that the toilet and bathroom were not clean, with visible stains on the floor and on the door, as well as the toilet. I raised it at the reception and cleaners sorted it out within a few minutes and apologised for the situation. As a VIP guest I received a bottle of red wine which was small and could fill a large glass. The room was on the ground floor next to the swimming pool with a view of the sea behind the pool. BBC and some of the other channels were not working but most channels were operating without issues. The blackout curtains were good, blocking the sun in the morning sufficiently. There was a smell in the room upon entry, coming from the bathroom, but it didn't last for long and it was not intense. The breakfast was good with many options available, coffee and juice. The location of the hotel is very good, with access to the main Protaras road within 5 minutes and access to the main coastline of Protaras within 3 minutes. Checking in and out was smooth and easy. Overall good enough

Location is good . Quite noisy though as rooms very close to each other Rooms average and wifi in rooms very poor . Bottle of water provided in the room, on arrival only !! It’s a bit mean as water is very cheap I booked a massage in the hotel spa. When I arrived I was greeted by a lady , who escorted ne into the room and asked me to undress. She started the massage . She left the room a couple of times - I assumed to get something. When I was asked to turn over , I was shocked to find that the masseuse was a MAN. Change of hands took place without my knowledge and consent. When I complained to the lady she was unapologetic and said she was busy at reception . No remorse was exhibited . I also companies to hotel reception staff who were largely unbothered. As a woman I feel violated - at lack of transparency and remorse . Absolutely shocking

We stayed in may for 5 nights. The hotel is located in the end of the bay and has great views right by the sea sure . the rooms are spacious convenient and very clean . But if you seek for a nice dark evening on the balcony to watch the sea waves or shooting stars-this would be very much disappointing as the balcony lights are intense and bright carefully designed to lit all night long in order to shine like a giant light house for miles away . so actually all the balcony lights are lit up all night long and together with the pool colorful blinking lights create a happy Disco vibe atmosphere. we asked the staff several times to switch them out only to discover no one knew how . later on we where KINDLY informed the Manager wishes that all balconies would shin indefinite. Even the long dark curtains where not enough to darken the room. .
