I’m extremely disappointed with the hidden fees I encountered during my stay. When I paid, I was charged significantly more than the actual Euro-to-USD exchange rate. For example, the standard rate was around $1.10 per €1, but I was charged $1.18 per €1. Why? Because the hotel tacked on an 8.6% commission—something they never disclosed at any point in the booking or payment process. This wasn’t explained on the website, the invoice, or anywhere else. I only discovered it after reviewing the numbers and doing the math myself. To be clear, this isn’t about minor fluctuations in exchange rates. It’s about a hidden commission that drastically inflated the cost of my stay. That’s deceptive, and it’s not how a trustworthy business should operate. I’ve filed a dispute with my credit card company and would strongly caution other travelers to double-check the charges before booking here. Transparency matters—and unfortunately, that was lacking in this experience.

We were greeted before we go to the door! They came to the taxi, assisted with luggage and, when my wife's wheelchair broke down, they loaned us one for the whole week. We'd go back tomorrow. Erza was very helpful.

Love this hotel. 1 minute to the metro and RER to go to the airport, super convenient. Very walkable to the main attractions. Lots of food options in the area. Hotel was clean, well maintained and the staff were nice. Also was able to check in early which was nice after a long flight.

Perfect for solo travel/females

Travel led from the US as a 30yr F solo. Hotel was conveniently located, clean, safe, and quiet. The water got hot super quick, outlets in bathroom, spacious room, and laundry room onsite. You need a key card to enter in the building during the day on weekends and after 11pm which made me feel very safe. The tile in the shower was a beautiful green color.

Great Aparthotel in center of Paris

The hotel is located in the center of London, adjacent to Westfield Forum and Chatelet les Halles. Very clean, great staff. Rooms are rather small, but have what is needed for a short or medium stay. Access to the airports by train or metro is great!

Citadines Les Halles great hotel.

A pleasant discovery of a lower cost Aparthotel in the center of Paris. The room was adequate size, the kitchen lacking an oven, but otherwise ok. The finishing touches unlike any I have seen elsewhere; the wall sockets with USB-C were a very appreciated convenience. Coffee machines in the lobby and breakfast room. I did not like the very tall bathtub and the ubiquitous half a shower enclosure. Location close to Pompidou, Louvre, and Notre Dame; and the city-rail RER is close by.

The location of Citadine Les Halles was fantastic. Both RER and metro links at Chatelet which is within 20m walking distance to the accommodation and there are lots of dining options around. The apartment itself was functional and had everything you need for a short stay. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The only downside was that the rooms were not cleaned nor fresh towels or replenished sundry items during our 3 night stay.

Superb spot for a weekend Parisian getaway

Location can't be beat, period. So close to the metro & heaps of food & shopping all withing walking distance. Staff are so helpful & friendly. Rooms were a great size for 2 people & the kitchenette set up was very helpful. The bathroom is a bit tight, but not a deal-breaker.

Citadines Les Halles Paris is highly recommended. The room was very clean and equipped with basic necessities, including plates, cutlery, an induction stove, and an oven. The staff were very helpful and courteous throughout our stay. There are plenty of dining options nearby that cater to all tastes. Additionally, there’s a convenience store right next to the hotel. It is also just a 15-minute walk to the Louvre Museum, where you can catch the Hop-On Hop-Off bus to explore the rest of Paris' attractions. However, it can be a bit noisy at night due to the many shops in the area.

If you want to be by EVERYTHING then this is a great location! The only downside, which I saw in other reviews was it can be loud at night. We had a city center view which was nice but if you're a light sleeper that can be a bit annoying. Overall, I would still stay here again and maybe ask for a different room to see if that helps.
